A lot of people totally missed the point. That was a nice little example of Filler Ichigo. He sat there trying to block his enemy's attacks, looking stupid and not being proactive or "bad ass" in the least bit. And he was uncharacteristically weak in this videogame, just like he is in the fillers. =P Supposed to be a metaphor, at least that's what i got out of this.

Ichigo in this game did nothing because its in training mode so the point is moot. Ichigo in the anime at least dodged unlike Ichigo here going against an apparently 7 feet tall Naruto.
