Arcane Designs. A true experience to me. To me, it seems more than a group of GFXers, but a bunch of freinds with a common interest. Sort of like an advanced FC. They have not only helped me increase my talent as a GFXer, but have given me helpful hints as well. I can also see others improving as well, and compare the good and bad of theirs to the good and bad of mine. Alas, it is definitely more than just a team.

oh and i got the playlist thing at last.fm, a few others are using the same kind of thing...

I think V2 is the best, but I still think text should go, it is interesting enough without.
Text is only good if you can add it without disrupting the flow, and hopefully enhancing it, if possible. Otherwise, do without.

@Kichi'scurrent: man you've improved in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks... Your background is pretty good. It isn't boring at all. You've got lighting sorta down (it's still a bit off), but depth and blending are still issues. If you're stock isn't blended properly, your depth will suffer greatly. Therefore, I suggest erasing or lassoing the render and adding more effects (beit C4D or otherwise) over the render. You should try applying filters to applied image layers now.

@trev'slatest2sigs:
2ndlatest: The colouring is nice, but as it stands the render looks over-blended and the background is washed out. Increase the contrast slightly and, with the color balance layer mask selected, brush black over the render with a low opacity brush.
latest: Better than the other: Nice colouring ad nice effects. However, the render is over-blended in this one too. For this one just remove the clouds under her cheeks and i think it would look fine. Add some lighting. By looking at the render, lighting should be coming from above her.

@trev's2renders:
1st: Choppy around the hair, but you've explained that ;) .
2nd: This one is better.
Both are really grainy on the outside though. The edges aren't smooth :S . And I don't really like the fact that the background is white instead of transparent.

@Kootje'slatest: imo render takes up too much space, not letting you showcase the effects as much. I'd like to see a new version with a smaller render. Right now the sig isn't all that great, I must say...

Right thanks for the CnC guys....think I'm gonna start over with the gin sig - keep the stocks (him and his symbol) and just revamp the whole thing, RefrieD's right it does seem flat and am trying everything I can think of to sort it out but nothing's working right for me given the current style.

I don't want to just copy the background from my current and use that tho Kootje, I may try something similar if I can remember how I got it to work in the first place!!!

But I may have a few ideas.....so watch this space and I shall see what I can come up with tonight when I get back to it.

The Team Banner sounds cool....but instead of us all working on it why don't we do something like what 3rd Div did for the Division tag above our names....we all make one within a given theme and then we have a non-biased team and outsider vote. What do we reckon???? or do we all make one and get owner and co-owner to decide the best....obviously excluding them from the running....

As for your current WIP - different! May need to tweek the lighting slightly...looks a little washed out and pale.

So have we decided on rules? Freestyle, No racism or porn but minor ecchi allowable, max size 400 x 140 (or less???) disable own signature for posting....time limit for posts. Non Team members only can vote.

How does that sound? Everyone?

EDIT: Hinata, what do you think??? Sound like a plan? Seeing as I appear to have been given the job of putting this in place would like some feedback before I let it roll....

- light source is too concentrated
- bg is baddd
- fx dont flow with bg
- lighting sucks

I'm so not happy with it...

RedrieD, how many adjustment layers you have there? Seems like that's where you screwed up. The sig itself is good. Lots of potential, but it seems you overdid touch ups and created that.
