Hi!
I keep thinking that I somewhere (think it was on BP) read that there were an official announcement of how long the fillers would last?
Or is it just me? :(
(I am sorry if the title got any of your hopes up... I just couldn't find a better tittle to describe this topic, I hope that most of you noticed the "?" at the end... Thx ^^)

I don't think it's been verified as of yet, so we're all just speculating now. Also, the Bounto arc seems like it's drawing closer to the end, but if the anime gets back on track, it'll soon catch up to the manga. I think it's very likely that there will be another filler arc after this one.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. That didn't help much, but that's about all I know. heh

I think fillers end on ep 95.

are there any confirmed claims of when they end, well lets have any new episode titles been given?

Nope, I think they were extended from there. ep 95 is Byakuya's fight in SS against Bountos...
92 - Once more the Shinigami society is invaded.
92 - 死神世界への突入、再び
93 - Bauntos' violent assault. Earthquake on the 13 divisions!
93 - バウンド強襲!激震の護廷十三
94 - Hitsugaya' decision! The hour of the conflict approaches.
94 - 日番谷の決意!激突の時迫る
95 - Byakuya on the battle front! Cherry tree's flowers dance rips the wind.
95 - 白哉出陣!風を裂く桜の舞
So, I bet there will be more, cuz Byakuya and Hitsu won't split the Bountos in just 2 chapters. Prolly Hitsu will take on the Old Man's fish. And the others will still be missing afterwards, unless they're given a minor death.

There are no official word on how long the fillers are going to last. It's a big mystery to all of us... just like the Naruto fillers....nobody knows exactly how long they will last. I have a feeling that we're going to have a long filler season. Bleach is very close to the manga... so we're looking at at least a year of filler or more.
yea we're still too close to the manga.

Well they might just start the aizen arc after the bountos but there will prolly be lots of filler episodes telling us stuff like more background of different chars and stuff like that in the aizen arc.

Maybe it will be like Naruto. They stopped the story and went all out fillers (Bleach did the same). So far Naruto has about 80 filler episodes. That's almost half of the whole Naruto series.
I'm guessing that the fillers won't stop until say.... Episode 140.

hmm, maybe they'll start the the aizen arc with some Don Kanonji episodes thrown in here and there. We can always do with a little more DON KANONJI!
No not that long they will probably do Aizen Arc then filler episodes explaining people and tons of stuff and maybe show more detailed fights/explaining/story.

its unpredictable, plus bleach does have a certain timeline
they can not keep ignoring it, it was stated in the manga that after they got home from SS a month past before all the new stuff started happening
and besides if they do it to later in the season they will mess up the winter war

Tho they could get back to small investigational work, like the cursed parrakeet, Inoue's brother's case, this sorta thing. It wouldn't push them into a chalenge, forcing writers to create a magical way of Ichigo improving w/out surpassing manga-Ichigo (like loosing bankai out of nowhere...), and still would b interesting to c the charachters in diferent ocasions. Personaly, they should have done the entire fillers this way, and leave this Bounto thing to another point in the storyline. But anyway, investigational work could give afro-san a role, and would not get the heroes tired after it was over. They could even insert some flashbacks and explore a few sides of the main chars we don't know. Tell other stories going on in SS's every day life. Whatever, since that shinigami school stories weren't all that bad afterall. It would just preserve the storyline. I mean, that HAS to happen something in SS sometime, right? I bet they don't file all those reports for nothing...

I hope to god the filler doesn't go on that long i really can't stand it any more its boring.I've been reading the manga and it is so good but what you're all saying is right the manga is way too close to the anime!

I just don't get it...
Why is it so hard for the drawing studio (or who ever does the stories) to actually make some decent fillers? Oki, I can understand Naruto, since they choose that 1 story - 1 episode approach, but when you do an arc, you could atleast make the story a little better...
(Ah.. Once again I get pulled into complaining about the fillers too much...)
Anyways...
I'd have to agree with most of you here, there is no point getting our hopes up that the fillers are going to end with the Bountou arc (or that the arc is close to an end.)
As I am not even close to a professional anime drawer, I have no idea of how the system works (with the anime - manga relation). But using pure logic, there is no point denying that the fillers will last for a "good" year or so...
Seeing how atm, the bountou arc is very "uncertain", as those "story makers" have made very sudden turns throughout these fillers. (Like the SS ppl coming into the real world, and all the sudden discover the bountou hideout...)
So these things make it very hard to even predict the outcome of the next episodes...

Am I the only one that thinks the Fillers are decent?
Bleach fillers are better than other animes fillers. So they are doing a good job.

Well...
That can really be an evergoing discussion...
For example, everyone has a different definision of what they think is funny.
So some may say that the "jokes" used in Bleach fillers are hilarious, while others just want to close the player when they see one, thinking it's the most lame thing they have ever seen...
The same goes for the fights, the story, etc, etc, etc ^^
(Not that you guys/girls didn't know this already... But just thought I'd mention it :biggrinlo )

The reason that they can't make fillers as good as the regular manga is because they can't develop a character in the filler or it might contradict what happens later in the manga (well they can, but they can mess up a character). Without developing any character it's hard to make a good storyline.
No, I don't think the fillers are going to end anytime soon. It's too close to the manga.

Compared to the Naruto fillers, Bleach fillers are a godsend.
Also...it may just be me, but the way the manga is going is really not that impressive in my opinion. At this rate, a high quality filler might actually be better than some of the recent manga plotlines
=/
I still refuse to call the Bounto arch filler. I mean, filler is random stuff that has nothing to do with the actual story. This is actualy still in context. The only things that they arent doing now Isshin, Viazored, Arrancar will likely result from the end of the Bounto. Maybe all the fighting in the real world against the Bounto will attract the Arrancar etc... That's just my theory though.

bounto is filler dude. it's not in the manga.
So? How do you know thats not gonna be the next thing after this manga arch is over?

I really wonder if they'll get back on track at all. You see, I understand the need to stall a little bit so they won't catch up with the manga, but the problem is Ishida. In the anime, he seems to know that he can get his power back and sets off to do so...in the manga, it's a little different than that (not going to say because of spoilers ;))....they could get it back on track from there if they wanted to, but I just think they would have been more careful if they planned on following it exactly.

well, it's not in the manga now right and I know that.
Whatever you say....
But seriously, what do you think will happen in the manga after this arch is over? Will the series suddenly end? I THINK NOT! So my guess is that the two will eventually merge. I mean, Ishida is already regaining his powers in the anime. Just through a different method.

All because it's an arc doesn't make it non-filler. So, you think that KT would make a bounto arc after this arc? K, if you think so...

Its an interesting idea that the aizen arc will lead into the filler but it won't happen. You talk about how ishida is getting his power back but if you've read the manga you will know that he gets it back another way which i'm not going to say so that means he will lose his powers again after the filler.

About Ishida getting his powers back...
As I understand it, the "device" given to him, is only temporary? (I haven't seen 91 yet...)
I mean, it were given to him by SS, not to mention it was Mayuri who gave the order. So I doubt he will just let go of such precious artifact, especially considering him and Ishida haven't exactly been the best of friends in the SS Arc...
So I think that this method is just temprorary, and they will still go through with the Manga method, once they find a way for him to loose the artifact..

Dude, I don't want to sound mean or anything but that's completely 150% not going to happen. Ishida will only regain his powers temporarily and then lose them again before the fillers are over, all of the content in the fillers have no character development or any major story development because they are fillers, they make all these episodes so that all the characters can stay in the same place they are between the Soul Society arc and the Arrancar arc. Once these fillers are over all the characters will be exactly the same as they are in the beginning of the Arrancar arc, and if you didn't realize it by then you'll realize that if you took away the entire filler arc everything would be exactly the same regardless.
After the arrancar arc is over (which is no time soon, probably in another year at least manga-wise) they'll either end the story or continue on with a new arc, a good one, not one with European mod souls that suck souls out like vampires- which is such a cliche thing for anime/fillers. Look back at those Kenshin episodes with the christian European enemies, such crap, but it's something that can make money and keep Bleach on the air for japanese audiences while they give the manga time.

When this arc is over the three goofy mod soul Dolls will go away and the Bountou will also, they have served no change whatsoever in the world of Bleach.

Okokok, lemme get this shtraight. Another long and useless thread about fillers? No offence to the thread starter, at least that person had avalid question and got a valid answer, but why are all of you go on posting stuff like "I hope.." and "I think..."
Oh god. I'm starting to debate this too. Please. We all know that there is no official word on the fillers so far, and Anime New Network:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...d=4240&page=25
Is an excellent source for episode titles and enough info on this as it is. Please, unless ANN gives us info about fillers, don't take any rumour for anything other than "Bleach will end after ep 53".
Ok? I'll close it for the good of the population.
