Did you know, zangetsu is the moon you see in the morning like you know how sometimes if you wake up pretty early and as the sun rises you can still see the moon until like 7-ish?

Do a search for Japanese English Dictionary Interface (JEDI). Type in Zangetsu and it should return that answer.

hey peeps~ I think it'd be cool if Zangetsu was 残月 with the definition given by shadow, but it's actually 斬月 which means to *slay* or *cross swords* with the moon. It's also the character for zanpakutoh / 斬魄刀　- which, directly translated, means the blade/sword that slays the soul/spirit.

...a little bit of a kanji lesson for those who are interested ;)
