Ocarina Of Time Or Wind Waker?

Which Zelda did you think is better? I personally think Ocarina oF Time was better because it had more replay value, the story was very good,and there was a wider selection of weapons to use, and the Side quests were a little more interesting

Windwaker for me. Ocarina of Time was great and all but it was too... regular now. WIndwaker has more innovations. The seas/islands thing was perfectly done and it had hours and hours of features. Ocarina of Time was a bit too dark. After you enter the futur almost no1s around til after you beat their temple. D: Sure it has a bunch of extras and mini-games but so did Windwaker. imo if WW had OoTs graphics system and had a tad less lighthearted feel to the graphics then it would have been better. One thing I loved about WW was the Nintendo gallery extra feature, but OoT had the Golden Spider things, whitch I found less fun collecting. =\

OOT. Wind Waker was bunk and tried to lengthen itself with that assaninely large world... Though the game finally answered the age old question "is it the same Link and Zelda? or different ones every some odd years?" Yup. Different ones. All in all, i preferred OOT. It was more serious and such.

Though...I don't see how killing Ganon in the future saves the past from the crap Ganon did, haha

yes, graphic wise WW is better. But think about the system its on. a GCN. of course GCN graphics are better than the 64bit N64. But as Mugen said, the gameplay, story, and the overall feel of OoT is much better.

^Same applies to me. OOT is just so breathtaking in so many places, by the time WW came out many more things had been done before. If only they'd come out with OOT on the DS, I'd pay good money for that :)

OoT for the win, why? excellent use of the systems graphics, hours and hours of fun, great replay value. I liked the puzzles in the game far to much. WW just dissapointed me.

Well now that I played a little bit of WW I could say this. WW has more side quests people, interactivity, secrets and exploring. Now don't get me wrong OoT has an awsome story and characters and visually wasn't as pretty but when talking about character desighns OoT wins by a lot. WW has light hearted fun while OoT has a dark and serious atmosphere. In the end there both awsome games and I can't really decide. I'll play more of WW and come back with a verdict.

WW because when you sail you dont get to a place in like 3 min. YOu sail for awhile. Like if you travel across the world youll be there in 10 min or more. I like WW overall. I'm also made at OOT because I died at the entrance after you beat Ganon... I'm still holding a grudge for that last damn heart...

I voted Wind Waker, but I do have the Ocarina of time from that special disc that only comes with limited Wind Waker's. It's really good, but I prefer Wind Waker because of the better graphics and it's more fun to play.

Ocarina is definitely more challenging. You can get through Windwaker without dying once. It's pretty easy. However both are undoubtedly good games.

Wind Waker was... A bit too childish-like for my liking... I didn't like the graphics and traveling by boat everywhere was annoying... (It didn't even have Epona!)

Ocarina of Time... Is like the best 64 game out there (well in my opinion...) The graphics were great... The bosses were challenging... And it had the good "Zelda elements" (if you know what I mean)...

What I'm mad about is that I don't have the OoT on gamecube edition. I NEED to preorder Twilight Princess! (if they give any bonuses like Wind Waker) ^_^

For me, I've been a fan of the seires FOR EVER. Ok, not that long but since I was 5 years old. Link to the past > Ocarina > Wind Waker.
I thought WW was awsome, still a 10/10 for any zelda fan, it was very innovative and really showed me some of that miamoto creativity I love so much.

However, OoT I thought was still the supirior game due to the fact that it was the ORIGINAL 3d zelda, and had a much better combat system and world. The ocreans thing was cool, but riding on epona = waaayyy better.

ok so OoT is way better then WW was. It has better graphics and was just an all around better game. WW was alittle odd looking to me. And was truely a disappointment. I love the Zelda games (hence the LoZFC http://forums.bleachportal.net/showthread.php?t=12521 join!) and ww was a let down to me. MM was way better then both games though. The compleity of it was just great! That and you get to ride Epona plus change into all the different forms! It was great! I loved being a Zora. Oh if only Princess Ruto could see Link then.... lol ... >.> :p

Ocarina Of Time all he way. OoT was the first 3-D Zelda game and fans all ove r the world loved it. Wind Waker was a good game too. I liked to sail but some aspects of the game seemed like they were intended for a younger audience.

Look. I’m not saying that OoT wasn’t ‘great’. But if you pick up and play BOTH of them right now. I guarantee you’ll have a better time playing Wind Waker…Oot isn’t out of date or anything. WW is just more enjoyable. The graphics are sweet and cuddly but this game is pure Zelda. And its better the OoT.

When it comes to the Zelda franchise. Nintendo always knows what the fans are craving. This time it was something different.

OoT was brilliant for its time and even now it’s a great game, WW is just better. Graphics game play, all are smoothly and innovatively done.

I think the memory of OoT makes you believe that it’s a better game, for its time and years afterwards it was incredible, mind boggling incredible. Super Mario 64 incredible. But in a deeper comparison, WW is a tad more innovative and just plain fun.
