Moving on

Even though we never said anything
and I never cared to begin,
we continue wandering
so that one day, it all becomes clear.

Let's go away, to a far off land
remember nothing but the smiles
floating upon blue skies and white clouds;
not beyond reason
because, life was meant to be this way.

I never made the notion
a simple flicker to start this dream
before it began
we start to let go of our hands.

Although I never cared to continue,
I hope that this isn't the last.
I don't want to ponder the loss
No more 'maybe and maybe nots'
This time,
I won't wonder why.

Alone, this time around,
on unburdened wings
to a far off dream;
A new day will begin.
