ive heard about this game. the visuals and cell shading mixed with traditional japanese style artwork is amazing. and playing as a white wolf seems cool as well.

It's actually down for a September release in Europe too, though no exact date confirmed, so it'll probably be delayed. If its on show at Leipzig GDC later this month then we may get lucky, you never know. :)

It won't be released in europe the same time..

The french/germen/italien must have thier games dubbed coz they're too bitchy to learn english (Sorry French/German/Italien people... I like you anyways ^^ YOU ROCK)

^It will be subbed but as far as I'm aware they don't speak a true language in the game anyway (its more like repetitive noises) so dubbing isnt an issue. Also, Capcom made Zelda: Minish Cap and it came out in Europe months before America. Just because its not the norm, doesn't mean their current EU date of September is blatently wrong. Guess time will tell

So I know the last post about this was a while ago, but I didn't want to start a new thread :P

I bought this game a week ago, and I"ve been addicted to it ever since. Not only is it beautiful and the brush style of fighting and doing everything is innovative... I just have fallen in love with this game. My roommate loves feeding all the animals for Praise (plus, lets face it, its really really cute) and we joke about how the game judges you when you don't do so well drawing a circle and it fails and doesn't do what you wanted to do. Plus the little wolf howl is cute. Anyway, has anyone else played this in the last few months since it came out?

I am thinking of buying it. It's looks different from any game I have seen before. I wonder if it's good, I heared level of diffecalty is too easy.

I believe the difficulty is easy to the average gamer, but people say its load of fun and its definitely long (30+ hours). I would buy the game if only my sister would stop playing guitar hero and I have spare money xD

Well, since I recently was switching between KH and Okami, Okami is easier in the battles, thats for sure. I've only seen the screen of death once, and my roommate twice (but she's not really a gamer) but the game itself is still so fun. I origionally rented it at Hastings, and within four hours I returned it (to get six dollars back :P) and then bought it. ANd I'm cheap, and its been so worth it :P

This game is awesome the graphics look dreamy. Although i imported the game cause i was too impatient, the storyline is awesome, and i see room for a sequel

I wish there would be. But Capcom got rid of Clover because Okami didn't sell as well as they liked (what would have helped was ADVERTISING the damn game, bastards) so no sequel :( So I must love and play the game more.
I'm totally getting my next tattoo from this game, and I don't care how nerdy that makes me. My friend has the Japanese Art book from the game, and it is AMAZING too.

After all this, I going to buy this game, it's sounds good, only reason I did not bout before is because I heared it's too easy. I like games like Devil May Cry 3.

I'm thinking about getting Okami once the European version comes out. I've heard many good opinions about the game and seen a couple of trailers. The graphics looks impressive and the music is brilliant too. The only downside, I guess, is that the difficulty level is a bit too easy. Though I think it's still worth getting, since it's definitely a long game (compared to KH at least).

It can be quite easy at times but its fun none the less. It was rated highly in most gaming reviews and even considered game of the year by others. The visual effects are stunning with the japanese art style and the action is fun as well. Storyline is also pretty stable throughout.

The "celestial brush" battle system looks very interesting and unique. There must be a lot of reading to be done throughout the game, since the characters speak in an un-interpretable language (or so I've read from a review of the game).

Ps. I think the European version is out today...
