Is it just me or is any1 else getting the feeling that[after watching eps20+]that all that stuff bout Ganju's dead brother the female killer and his brother having orange hair[supreme hints at the fact he looks like kurosaki?!?!?]looking like kurosake it just seems 2 me from all the loose threads i got so far that this is how it is firstly ganjus brother was killed by a female shinigami secondly rukias brother[or was it renji?] said yes i c he does look like him about kurosaki[so i get from those 2 that obviously rukia was ganjus brothers murderer the one who beat and dragged him around LIKE A DOG MIND YOU[or sumthing like that anyway]

So, referring to what Darren decoded from the first post (I have to agree that it made very little sense...) what exactly is your question? and are you caught up with the manga? bc the manga will catch u up with questions about kaien... and if ur just referring to the anime, I think it's hard to come up with all the assumptions that u made... so i say go read the manga, and clear ur head~ ^_^

Read the manga. It'll explain a lot for you. And just so you know, Rukia didn't beat Kaien around "LIKE A DOG". There's a very good reason as to why she murdered Kaien. You'll see.

There have also been mush speculation if kurosaki is kaiens reborn. That would expalin the hollow inside, since a hollow merged with kaiens soul. And since souls go to some place before they return to the human world it would be logical that kaiens would eventually come back in a new form. And therby also the hollow that is merged with him.

i thought kaien died 10 years ago tho? icgigo would have been 5 by then, so unless im mistaken, that wouldnt line up

With the anime eppisode 49, the whole way the charecter acts and talks, just seem to match ichigo in nearly every way....i am sure this is not just as a conincidence

yeah it does seem pretty convincing that he is kaien reborn, i dont know anywhere that says how long ago it was the kaien dyed, though when i think about it it doesnt really make sence. 13th division doesnt have a vice captain and we know kaien was the vice captain, i mean it cant take 10 years to find a replacement can it? But then rukia seemed younger at the time, still a bit of a rookie, so it could have been ages ago :s

This is my theory of life and death in the Soul Society. You see as we watched on the previous episodes of bleach, it was stated there that the Soul Society and the Human world are in a balance. So my theory is, all those who died in soul society will be reborn on the human world with completely different memory of what he/she has before.

Remember that they annihilated the Quicys because of ruining the said balance.

Good God indeed mazaki, most of those posts on the first page are by long time members, Mods and Secs, who should know better about watching what they post in the anime section as matter of fact statements.

The majority of the posts on that first page were spoiler issues that have only be revealed to the extent you were discussing, in the manga...the issues you were discussing are only just surfacing properly in the anime.

I'm astounded, and dissapointed to say the least.

I'm gonna leave it since 49 gives us a little insight into the whole situation and leave the rest up to speculation.

Unless I missed an entire episode somewhere before watching 49, you don't really get given any real indication as to who Kaien is. Initially I thought he might have been Rukia's past fella until I saw 49.

[EDIT:]All of those posts were made back in May...of course they were, I'm not saying they are now.

anyway i dont think anybody knows the timeline of bleach in soul society cos its hard to tell when some characters seem to age and some dont but anyway rukia seems much younger when she is in the shinigami academy and her rukongai (spellcheck?...) and looks like she has aged very little (to me anyway...) days but renji seems to have aged pretty fast so it could be said that ichigo was not born yet when episode 49 occurred...

rukia joined the 13th division shortly after she got taken into the kuchiki noble family but she didnt have a seat yet in the 13th division yet... soon after kaien's wife was killed by a hollow and kaien went after the hollow to avenge her or watever... then rukia killed kaien when the hollow possessed him, if the thing about souls dying in soul society and r born onto earth is true, then that event could have been around 15 years ago and maybe a bit more...

or soemthign like tat..don;t really remeber.. but anyway..i think i soal society time it just may have happen but in the living world it maye have happen many years ago giving him ichigo time to grow up maybe? i'm not sure...itz just a thought
