the sad thing is that i just found out the original author of trinity blood is dead... T_T

yeah i like this anime very much! Abel Nightroad (or Nightlord) was cool,just love his Cruznik look killing with his scythe.Vampires owned!

Is.. dead? WOAH! Well, I happen to LOVE Trinity Blood! It's new and all, but so interesting and graphic! I love the story line from what I've read of the manga. The beginning is slightly different, but that's okay!

Actually, I perfer Nightroad rather than Nightlord. It's so much more .. I don't know, really. I was going to say mysterious, but Nightlord is the same. =P

Hmm.. so far I'm just wondering about the young Pope and his advisers. Oh, and that and the young lady in the ending credits. I mean, not to spoiler it or anything (this is just my assumption), but I get the feeling Nightroad and this woman are/were in some relationship. I did see her silhouette .. err, actually, I think I just saw a red head (in that one scene where Nightroad remembers a "bad memory".. ohh, graphic).

Hehe. I'm so into it. =)

yes, cos the originally trinity blood is a fantasy novel series by the late yoshida sunao, the novels comes with beautiful artwork by Thores Shibamoto... it later manga-rised by Kyujou Kiyo...
after the author died last year, ppl were worried the planned anime won't come out (since it's based on the novel series, and the series is not complete yet)... but of cos it finally did... and the manga will continue of cos by kyujou kiyo...

and yes i think it's nightroad not nightlord...

Hellsing anime was not good as expected and Trinity Blood seemed a little bit Trigun-ish because of the First episode, how Nightroad hid his abilities infront of the girl and talked lame just like Vash (Trigun). If I were to rate Hellsing it'd be 6/10 and this one might be 7/10.

Sorry to dissapoint you but nope I'm not a Pokemon fan. I have never given a 9 or 10 to an anime before. If you love the anime and that's how you feel "a superb anime" than let it be. What I have written is my personal idea, eg; you might like Bleach and I may not or you might not like Naruto or I might.

AE is a better sub then W-dreamers, Trinity blood though IMO is better then hellsing, were can i get the raw episodes when they come out cuse I know that tomorow comes out Episode 6 the Sword Dancer: a little synopsis: a mysterious bodey is found all cleaved and Abel as well as Estel is sent to investigate.

I started watching this anime. It's really good. It's kinda bloody but it's not bad. The only other anime I can compare they way I feel about Trinity Blood is probably Gundam SEED or Gundam SEED Destiny.

update...AE&Conclave are stopping sub due to the fact that TB got licensed by FUNimation

maybe they will continue in secret...if not, i hope W-dreamers hurry up and catch up to eps 9 cause ITS SUCH A GOOD SERIES

yeah.... not only was ending rushed, it was pretty bad. it's such a pity, in my opinion because a lot of characters have so much chance to develop!!

and just to get this out of my system - i really really dislike esther. up until now i still don't know what her character does in the story. out of the blue she just became queen. what the? is this another ploy just to make it fit with the traditional scenario where esther is queen?!! this is so ridiculous~

Trinity Blood was good and all but it's kind of an offset of Hellsing. In Hellsing he also uses restrictions but i forget if he said Krusnik. Anyway the anime was good I like it.

Once more this thread shall rise from the pits of the dead ;).

Trinity Blood is a good anime. Its not amazing, but its not bad either. It had a rushed ending and the good characters had very minor roles (I'm referring to the swordsmaster, unfortunately I forgot his name :/). Abel was a clone of Vash, there is no way you can't see the similarity between them. Nonetheless the gothic-esque in what kept me watching it. They could've made it a lot more creepier, but they just decided to make it one that could be watched by most people and not a selective crowd ;). As I said before that swordsman is my favourite character, I also liked the ex-con. He was pretty cool :).

Ive just seen the first 2 episodes of TB. I needed a new anime to watch and I decided to try it out. It may not be the best one out there but I certainly enjoy watching it. Tres is wicked, I like him :doindadom

I wasnt a total fan of the ending...to me, the show was rushed because the writer died. If the writer was still alive, they could of stretched it longer maybe and made a super good anime. Great animation.

now i've watched finish i was quite dissapointed with the ending...
so has Cain actually died yet???

but i still love it eventhough it doen't have a nice ending...

I do wana say that thier are 3 versions of trinity blood.

Novels
Anime

And thier are big diffrences in the 3 of them.
And the Novel writer died in 2004. The Novels were the furthest cause obviously he wrote them but they are in opinion also better. So I would like to suggest someone go read them :)

But now that I've heard there are novels out, I'm going to go try and buy them. Anyone know of the exact names of the novels and possibly a place where I would be able to find them?

I started watching it a while ago, but after about 17 eps, I stopped...
The storyline is so not-blended (can't find the correct word... dutch is: onsamenhangend for the one's who understand...)
I thought it was a real downer, but the intro song really rocks. definetly.

I never read the novels...but maybe I will now. I do want to see the storyline progress farther and know what happens.

My favorite episode was the one with the Count of Zagreb and the Aegis Shield. :D
