Favorite Final Fantasy Summon

i would have to say these:

Anima (FFX) - he (or she to Sess) is bad @$$ and Oblivion PWNs..

Bahamut ZERO (FF7) - he had a bunch od wings and blew planeys up, lawlz

or

Knights of the Round(FF7) - lotta damage for one summon..13000 or so per attack, 13 attacks, add it up..

You're being pedantic, even though you can't choose when to call him he does still fall into the same catagory as all other GFs in the game (after all, can't be classed as any other race/type of being).

I'd like to add Quezacotl and Alexander as other great summons I forgot to mention :winking56

I like Bahamut the most in any FF series. Second would probably be Odin especially in FF8. Third would be either Shiva or Ifrit in any FF series.

come on...Jumbo Cactaur was hilarious and such a great summon. I loved torturing enemies with Jumbo Cactaur and Tonberry King. :)

Well, only a few:

Brothers, Carbuncle, Cerberus, DOOOMTRAIN and Eden.

Why?

Brother you get to see some nonsense humour, Carbuncle gives you nice buff that could prove to be useful. Cerberus because it's a very nice PET DOG that you can summon, so cuddly!

Of course, you just can't forget DoomTrain, can you? Best way to travel is with DoomTrain! Fast and easy...

Lets see...

Shiva (FFX): Diamond Dust FTW. Her summoning sequence was pretty cool too :).

Anima (FFX): Probably my favourite summon of all time. Sure he looks like one big corn cob, but he's just too cool. Oblivion literally sends you enemies to oblivion.

Knights of the Round Table (FFVII): I only used to use them because of the major damage one could rack with them. The overall animation didn't impress me much though. Then again, it was a PS1 game. The first of its kind too :P.

Alexander (FFIX): Those big wings he had by his side always made me feel like summoning him whenever I got the chance :).

Odin (FFVIII): He comes out randomly out of nowhere, but when he does he never ceases to impress me :). I absolultely love him :).
