As for lack of postcount, the people who put the post counts thing into practice had the most posts anyway :p I for one am glad to see them gone, it only encouraged people to spam. With this system, people will be respected for the quality rather than the quantity of their posts :)

"Enough with changes"? Are you kidding? I think it's just the beggining. I mean for one thing, what the hell does it matter who has more posts? (and that from someone who has a huge amount of posts, myself!) what does it matter who spammed more?

Getting a lot of posts is something that can only be achieved if it is turned into a practice (or if you know everything and just have to share it, a la me), or if you spam. And since so many people chose the spam way, it's only right to remove it.

And second of all, what's so bad about having a forum different from the usual? A new, revolutionary thing unseen before. I find thi sintriguing and interesting.

Or, do you want CB to become NF or BF, a place with a shitload of spam and where people can get rep by posting in certain threads?
And I don't know what re you talking about, I see the numbers of each succesive post just fine (my post in this thread is #4, your's is #1).

Kaiser, what you are talking about might just be the effect of clicking go advanced to reply (it reverses the order). Otherwise whatever problem you have isn't affecting me. And well said Undying, I agree with every word of that :)

To be honest.. When I first saw the changes, I didn't really like them.
Now I relise that this might be for the better.

I would be even happier if DB decided to keep the post count in the user Profile.
Someone mentioned earlier I think.. It would be better for Captains to have a post count to check when reviewing somones application.

Why? regardless of their amount of posts there should be some idea of what kind of person this user is no matter how much or how little their post count is.

Anyway, I always used to find post count as a motivation to stop spamming, not start.

But I don't think the changes were that great to start a commotion about, you know? And besides, like I said I like it being a part of something revolutionary and new. Just think of yourself a pioneer, exploring new things.

I like the new change and i think the admins and mods did the right thing. The new rep system is for the best and will defintely encourage better quality posts and a no-spam policy. Instead of complaining, we should appreciate the benefits the new system offers.

Anyway..The changes are nice...It means that the site is being kept active and up to date..And that the admins are actually taking a really active role in the place instead of just setting it up and seeing what happens...

Bleh, it does get a bit of a headache whenever I skipped this forum for a long time, reminds me of the time when they switched to MInitokyo 3, which sucked ass at first, and eventually it gotten better once you get used to it, I do think there are far too many subforums, the front page looks crowded actually.
