I'm glad that this episode followed the manga exactly, and altho nothing happens much in terms of advancing the plot... i'm actually glad that the sasuke arc is finally over, it took damn well long enuff, but it's nice to see everyone back in Konoha again~

and you gotta love shikamaru: (what can i say, shikamaru and kakashi are my fave chars)

NOW I guess all the narutards (or just plain fans) here, me included, can look forward to the anime original filler~ the *Cho-skyu ninmu* (the super S-class mission) coming up! I hope it's gonna be a good one, like the one in Kiri-gakure no sato with Zabuza and Haku... (<-- i reallie liked that arc ;))

Yes fillers for 5 ot 6 month Damn thats a long time Just so the manga can move ahead

I didn't realize that the fillers were going to last that long~ but i guess it makes sense since the anime kinda caught up to the manga already and they do 2-3 chapters per anime... well i guess it's better than Naruto going on break; kishimoto must be busy coming up with both the manga AND the anime originals~

well, it's more like a spinoff arc than a filler... they're not stalling or stretching out an arc (i.e. what they've been doing with the Sasuke arc) but they're coming up with a new arc that didn't exist in the manga. another way to keep the anime going instead of going on break for a while so that the manga can get ahead~ im hoping the new arc will be good. (i doubt they've ever had an S-class mission b4... altho they've introduced S-class dangerous ninja like Zabuza, Oro, Itachi...)

Maybe it would last 5-6 weeks? In 6 months time 24 chapters of the manga will be published, hmm it's not too much tough, the anime might keep up quickly.

yes, 5-6 weeks sound more reasonable. just before the sasuke arc, they had a mini arc about village of tea of whatever and that wasn't very good... :p: and it lasted for about 4-5 episodes.

The Tea Village filler sucked ^^.

Btw, did you notice that both in the movie and in the ghey filler Sasuke makes a crack with the Chidori and Naruto pwnz with the Rasengan, it's not like that I'm a fan of Sasuke but it seems so lame.
