What is it you're looking to download?
just use Star Downloader, they let you pause your downloads, and it's pretty fast too :D

Anyways, you can always download the episodes that have been uploaded by schmaria8 in the stiockied thread above... They are in rmvb files, and they only about 28 mb.
You can also use www.mininova.org... I think you can find whatever there ^^

Um...It's the 21st century... :p
By far the best way to get it is to use torrents, and to go to tokyotosho.com, it's updated pretty much the very second something gets released. I'm even downloading the Bleach Musical from a torrent I got from there!
I used to use AnimeYume and before that AnimeSuki, both of which others suggested, but it isn't always that reliable and they seem to take down quite a lot of controversial series (as in, questionable legality) whereas on tokyotosho.com it's a lot more...open. You can't actually get Bleach torrents from AnimeSuki anymore because it's licensed, but it's still on tokyotosho. In addition, AnimeYume and AnimeSuki both have pop-up ads all the time, whereas tokyotosho is ad and pop-up free!
Torrents are resumable, by the way - in case you didn't know. In terms of the actual torrent program, if your system has at least about 512mb of RAM and a reasonable modern CPU (like over a gig) then Azureus is the best one. It can even download a file if the "tracker" is down (a vital part of the process of downloading using torrents) - something which is usually quite impossible. Then there are various worse, but lighter on resources and still get the job done ones... Like BitTornado, for example.
