okay the other thread has gotten out of hand people are now cursing people out and flamming constantly so we'll solve this with a poll: do you like subs more? or dubs more? now i don't want any fighting from you just answer and post a small reason why alright?

Same here...i will watch a few or even all the dubbed episodes, but the original is still better (think so)...really interested in the dub

To be honest, I'm not a hardcore anime fan like any of you guys. I just watch it and wait for the new episode to come out. Sorry about the argument back there, renji_kurosaki. I don't really hate subs. They're all right, and if you like subs more than dubs, that's just fine with me.

You should have a 3rd option. Well basically my option is "I like subs but dubs can be good if given the chance."

I like Subs better, I don't mind Dubs, some dubs are really good like Triguns. Sometimes I don't like subs because the jap. voices of some of the characters suck but that happens to the dubs too, so they are both pretty good and both have there faults but since I watch Subs more I voted for it.

Yeah thats the thing, people usualy like the version they have seen first.
For example, If I was in America or Canada, and I had just seen the Bleach Dub for the first time, I would think "Omgwowz" and love it.

The next day I head on the internet and come across the Sub Version. The majority of people are still going to prefer the dub.

It's the exact same for people who have seen the Sub first like me. Of course no ones going to say that the dub is better, espically people on this forum.

My vote goes to sub :)

I only say Subs are better because they are the "original". The words are translated directly.

However, my husband is a slow reader and hates Subs because he can never get the same out of the series. He has to watch it several times just to get the words or pause it every three seconds. For this reason, Dubs are great.

He was a "bleach hater" until last night. He hated that we would watch Bleach all the time and he couldn't join in. He constantly made fun of the series, calling it stupid. However, last night, he said he'll keep watching the Dub and loves it.

So honestly, Dubs have a LOT of benefits.

For instance... I can blink and not miss a thing they are saying. YAY! lol

i prefer subs most of the time except for in the case of YuYuHakusho in which Yusukes voice is super annoying to listen to cuz i hear dthe dub before i heard the sub probably. first to see is one most will like
