Definately. The way those two surrounded Aizen. More importantly her tears at the end of her battle with Yoruichi. What a moving character, both dark and light. Fitting that it was the most beautiful fight in all of Bleach.

I'm constantly amazed by the author's ability to make flashbacks, usually a tired device, into such surprisingly compelling scenes.

I'd like to see a mini series starring her. Her capacity to love combines with a feral sense of duty putting her in morally ambiguous territory, yet perhaps redeemed by that touching vulnerability to love. There is just a huge territory to explore. She has such room for growth. Unlikely we'll ever see such a mini though. <sigh>

I think it's because Soi Fong is not one of the most popular captains, probably cuz the anime has not shown much about her, like they've shown more of Byakuya, Hitsugaya, Ichimaru and all.

Actually, Soi Fong had a two epi partially fociused on her, her fight with Yoruichi and the flashback. So there is no excuse for a lack of Soi Fong luv!

I really like Soi Fong because I am most like her (out of the female characters) I can also relate to her about the being betrayed part. Soi Fong's situation was worse than mine, but I've still been betrayed by people who I don't think I could ever forgive for hurting me.

Soi Fong was the highlight of an otherwise miserable episode. :eek13: Sorry, I am not digging the shallow writing and poor animation in this latest arc. There's frustration and anger but no real passion. The whole gaming mod-souls leaves me cold. They've had several episodes now to give me a reason to care, and instead opted for being senselessly cryptic.

Next week should have more of her in it. If the writers are allowed to go in depth with the characters that would be great but they seem to be doing the opposite. Still an hour episode is reason to hope.

waah, I hate sounding like a bummer. I almost didn't post this. Still, looking forward to seeing how Soi Fong interacts with the Bleach crew. That will be worth the watch for sure. :biggrinki
