*I reach inside my robes and pull out a piece of parchment, completely blank, save for a few lines written on the the upper half. The lines read: "...and so, the death god walked into the shadows and called out its name, waiting for an answer." I place the piece of parchment upon the ground and look into the shadows.*
If I lose, the story will be short. I need more characters.

I desperately try to defend myself but the only thing I manage to do is put my left arm in front of my face hoping that I won't get any scars.*

*I see my blade hit Uryuu as he sustains yet another wound, I take this oppurtunity to try and use a last attack so I don't get any more wounds, but as I go to raise my zanpakuto, I'm amazed as Uryuu is faster and swings his blade first. Just being able to see it I try to get out of the way.*

Analog: Great attempt, you've improved dramatically, though your grammar could use some help and you have some tense confusion. I felt that your statements were a bit more generic than Kaze's and oftentimes you lacked punctuation, disrupting the flow of your piece. Your decision to use Kokei and then finish your enemy with a basic attack was an excellent piece of snap-decision strategy, though luck was on your side for most of this battle. Your strategy of precision over power wasn't a match for your opponent's stunning attacks, though you inflicted your fair share of damage.
