They've been skipping a lot lately..I HOPE it'll help us get the fillers over and done with quicker. At least they're not dragging out the material to make the arc longer. I'd rather have a week skipped.

Skipping is ok for me. It gives more time for the manga to move ahead. At the same time, it gives the anime team more time to plan for future episodes of the fillers.

I guess we'll have to wait til next week to see Byakuya whip out his Bankai on Kariya.

The manga would have jumped ahead whether an anime episode was released this week or not. Whether an episode is televised or not, a manga chapter will come out, y'know! :p All this means is that the filler will end one week later than if the next episode was on tonight. Whatever displaced this episode has basically put us through one more week until the next proper arc starts... ;_;

That's not really the point. The point is that even though it will go longer time wise, there's a possibility of less filler episodes, hence ruining the manga story less. Think about it..if they weren't skipping as much as they were, the filler episodes would be further ahead arc wise, and if they aren't doing another filler arc after this one they would be forced to put fillers inside fillers (if that makes sense). This way we get the story without any stupid interuptions like episode 80, featuring the mod souls.

Personally, I would rather have the fillers go a week or two longer than have crappy episodes (like ep 80..)

i thought that they were just changing the date of bleach, instead of it being on tuesdays they were changing it to wedensday i heard which meant sub every thursday i forgot when that was going to happen but i didnt think they would skip a week but it doesnt bother me

The fillers missing a week isn't related to there being less fillers. If they suddenly decided to do one less episode, it would come off at the end, not a few eps before the end. It just means that something important, or "important" , replaced it for one week. They'll be as many fillers as ever, but just with a sort of "miss a turn" effect on them for this week.

I actually figured out the filler/normal ep ratio before. If the fillers magically end right this minute (not that I'm suggesting that, but just for this example), they are ahead enough in the manga to get about 27 or so eps out of it, but at that point they'll have ran out of manga. It will take SEVENTY-NINE filler episodes to pass before the manga is sufficiently advanced to get another 26 episodes of anime from it.

That will then repeat in a loop. Unless they reduce the amount of manga chapters that go to make each anime episode from, on average, three. That will probably mean that we'll get like a "Namek effect" whereby it seems to be moving far to slow and hardly anything will happen each episode.

That ep95-96 torrent is a fake. Simplest way to confirm that is on DB's distribution site:
"For those too fucking stupid to realize, yes, the mininova torrent is fake." - that's just referring to the 95-96 torrent on Mininova, but will apply to any other 95-96 torrent available at this time.

The episode won't be aired this week due to network programming issues, but the next one will be aired on 9/5 - taken directly from Shonen Jump.
And again, I agree with ManjiSTP; this episode would likely already be prepared for airing, so basically next week's will leave them with a surplus of one episode, which means there should be a double-episode somewhere down the line.

I wouldn't even be so sure that they'll do a double ep somewhere down the line. That means that whatever would have been on after Bleach will have to be cancelled, which is unlikely. Although I hope they do do a double ep, I think it's far, far more likely that the filler will just run for one week longer now. :sad:

i havent heard of news that the fillers will end with the bounto story arc but i sure hope that they get back to the main story :) im guessing that they'll have short filler story arcs before going to the original story, it must be at least a year or two (like naruto generation 2), i think.

EEK!! The so-called episode 95 from DB is actually a fake!! It's actually epi. 91 again! I'm not sure if anyone else got this, but it was entitled bleach episode 95. I didnt realize it was episode 91 until i saw ichigo and kariya, again....
I check it over and over aain and i'm sure it's episode 91 with a fake episode 95 title on it... =(
