Final fantasy For Ps3

is Final fantasy series going to be on the ps3...Whats your opinion on this matter...My personal opinion is yes it will i think its going to be called Final Fantasy XIV or (have they made a FFXIII)Final Fantasy XIII....

Yeah id say therez definetley gonna be FF`s for PS3 (i sure hope so). Itll probably start of by FF XIII i think, since the XII is still to come on PS2. I think that Nintendo rev. qnd Xbox 360 will start to have a few FF`s too.^^

I think Square is making FF specially for Sony consoles ONLY... I think it'll be FFXIII.. I can't wait! Imagine how cool the graphics would be! On PS2, it looks so real! On PS3, it'll look like they used actors and actresses to act out the cut scenes! 0_0

yeah i saw that demo *drools* which makes me want to see FF7 completely remade from the ground up (same story and maps, only hella better) and in HD1080i and digital5.1 *goes into gamer comatose*

the only problem is how lame it was.. i mean the graphics are awesome, but Cloud jumps off the train and slashes his sword at nothing.. nobody would do that.. i hate it when games try to make stuff look cool by doing lame stuff like that.. either way, ill still get the game, i love FF ^^

anyway, im sure FF13 is comin for the PS3, i heard it got announced at the same time as FF12, but it was just ebing worked on a lot slower.. and even if they dont, we still got FF12, and Advent Children.. hell, if they stop mkaking FF games(doubtful though), maby theyll start to focus more on Kingdom Hearts, or a new series? ^^

Too bad it was ONLY a technical demo...U_U It would really be cool if they re-made great games like Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, and FF7 for the PS3. But we all know that that's never gonna happen.. :sad:

IGN has the technical demo: the technical demo btw is the realtime render of FFVIIAC on the PS3.

The graphics are definately cool but then, it's just not realistic enough.... imagine having all these cool graphics now, and next time, it'll seem like a child's play! i'm looking forward to ps3! woot!

i donno.. im getting tired of graphics.. as long as their not ugly, i dont care how crappy they are.. it pisses me off how people choose crappy games over awesome ones because of graphics.. its soooo soo stupid.. i think we should take what we can do now, and make a law saying if theres better gaphics that can be made for a video game passed the current best of right now, its to be downgraded to the best of today, or below. i hate how big of a deal graphics are. developers are focusing more on making awesome graphics than the game itself, and theyr ruining an entire market. its stupid. we should be focusing on doing more with the gameplay itself so the game doesnt get old, better camera angles, better story, good voice acting >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>X infinity >>> GRAPHICS

FF7 is a good game.. they dont need to remake it.. it would be cool if they did, but its a waste of time for people to buy the same game with better graphics for more money, than to buy a whole new one. i really dont want there to be a remade FF7. Square should be focusing on advancing the gameplay and whatnot, not making an old game with better graphics. In the time they can totally remake FF7, they can have a whole new FF being worked on, with a majority of it done. they shouldnt waste their time.

if there was a remade FF7, hell, id get it. but seriously.. graphics arent that important.. its the gameplay..

That would own. I've plated 7, x and X-2. Graphics would be even more stunning, though, I hope the FF for PS3 dosn't mess up with characters. X-2 sucked, only thing that kept me there was the 3 girls jumping around in the pretty cloths. >.<

According to the Square-enix press conference at E3 they have no plans what so ever of re-making any of the old FF games with better graphics. There is a new spin-off though that got announced at TGS 2004 which features Vincent against all the same baddies and maps. It's an action RPG... Which means it will be a Devil may cry clone people are already calling it Vincent may cry... As for FF7 I really hope they never reamke it it's a classic and if they remake it somewhere in the mix it will lose it's magic. FF7AC will put an end to this so we can all sleep and wait for the next mainstream hit. Here's to giant companies waisting our time and theirs' cheers.

yeah i saw the demo.. it was cool! i'm sure there's going to be some ff on the ps3.. but i think the ps3 looks tooo high tech and all.. (don't like it that much)

Final Fantasy XIII was confirmed to be in production by Tetsu Nomura last year around the time when the PS3 really started coming into the picture.

I thought I read somewhere that square enix was gonna start making some titles for microsoft as well?
