Thought I’d share one of my short stories with you guys! I have similar ones like this, one on Fear and the 4 apocalyptic riders, you know, Death, War, Famine and Pestilence.
At the moment however they are on the useless pc’s hard-drive in my room, father still hasn’t fixed it! Until that is done read this and tell me what you think of it.

Revenge is sweet:

Oh how sweet it would be! To drink from the sweet cup of revenge, a drink so potent that it poisons both you and those around you. They say revenge is a dish best served cold but revenge calls upon the blood, making it boil and brings forth the best…and worst of you.

Revenge is a timid beast, which hides and waits, biding its time to break free from its collared restraints. One spark, one little flame of rage, anger, hate, brings the creature from its hidden cavern newly transformed. A beast that lusts for blood, agony and death. It is like a Berserker, nothing can slow it down until death is brought upon it, nothing but the Grim Reaper can bring it down.

The beast calls upon your blood, demanding its name!
“Revenge! Revenge!” it roars, growing slowly more powerful as it cries out, “Revenge! Revenge is sweet, take it while you can!”
Your blood starts to boil and you see visions, horrid images of blood and pain, images that will never leave you. Images of destruction and death fill your mind as a flood pours through a village. Wave after wave of thought like these crash over your anger heated brain. You struggle to think, losing more to the beast each passing moment. Your hatred rises for the person who did this to you, you see red before your eyes.
Danger!

“No. Revenge is not good right now. Too angry?” you tell the beast.
“Oh but you must!” laughs the beast, “You must! You must! Revenge is sweet!”
The two of you struggle for control over your rage-fevered brain, you feel the beast winning, he always does.

Your heart feels as if it’s about to burst from the pain and sorrow that brought forward the feeling of rage and brought Revenge out of hiding. You don’t want to resort to using the creature, no! It brings too much hurt, more than what you had before you used it. Then you are left with nothing, a void of black nothingness.

Here you are, lost and fear all, black creatures hunt within. Hate, a vile creature of tooth and claw. Evil, the cunning but powerful force. Even Envy and Cowardice, the green and yellow foes that have hunted you since you were born. Yes, foul creatures for a person who has used the Head Creature of them all, Revenge.

“No! Return to your cavern Hell Hound and leave me to my grief!” you cry banishing the creature back to its cavern, “No more!”
“You can’t destroy me! I am immortal, I am the Head Creature, no one can destroy me!”
“Then there you will stay until you are needed.” You snap the collar back on.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Hope this lives up “To a Fallen World” probably not but we’ll see from your reaction.
Thanks for reading.
