i have no real WMP knowledge since i use winamp, simply because the interface is much better. anyway codecs install like any program. usually the video programs in you computer access it as necessary.

I've played my Bleach avi's play on my
Real player
Windows media player 10
Windows media player classic
DivX Player
VLC Media Player - best for sound
Creative Zen - Though at half speed for some reason?
I thought avi's played on practically everything?

i do. i use the latest DivX codec... (just install them) and then i tell winamp to associate with AVIs. it works great. plus the interface is waaaaay faster than WMP.

Try DivX Codec or Bundle or you can get WM9 Codecs at mediaplayer's official website.

DivX is all you need for AVIs.
just install their codec pack and call it a day.

Yes, feel free to pm this person for your needs for avi. Atm, I can't give any because I don't have all the divx packs for the different media players.

Gah! K-Lite may have viruses! I suggest using DivX codecs only O_o
And yes, can you play RealMedia files on any other players?
*P.S* Yes I do see that my sig IS quite larger than it is supposed to be, so I will scale it down.

May have, hah.
Make that CERTAINLY HAS.
Don't give those things a try, they ruin your pc. I can know. (Still finds crap left by Kazaa, Limewire and other **** like that)
Thank god it's only on my old pc like that.
I stick to good old FTP now. It's a lot safer.
And yes, can you play RealMedia files on any other players?
Yes it is possible. All you need is player supporting RM, RMVB and RAM files. It should be in the readme of each player what things they can play. I never had a problem with Real though.
I downloaded ALL codecs in one pack.
It took me a while though.
Can't recall where I got that pack though...
