All-nighter

Ok guys and gals, here's an interesting one for you;

If you were put in charge of choosing films for an all night movie-thon, which ones would you choose, and in what order?

You can opt to do a themed set, or a general set with no theme; there must be 12 hours of screen time( give or take 1 hour).

It took me about 3 weeks to plan my last 10 hour movie marathon, Even then I had created about 6 different line up's... This is just really hard! I'll try but it will have to be themed, even so it’s just not likely.

I know-it's not as easy as it at first looks! It was a dicussion I had a while back offline-became a long, deep and sometimes heated debate-it is much easier for the themed rather than general case-started because the film soc at lancs uni did an general allnighter-can't remember the line up now.

BTW "Lord of the Rings trilogy" is not allowed by itself as an answer; anyone who says it will be shot.

Ok, found out what the line up the film society did;

Die Hard, Dodgeball, Dawn of the Dead, The Truman Show, and The
Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I think it was a reasonable stab at a lineup that would please most;certainly a varied line-up; think that Rocky Horror was a killer choice of film to finish on. What do you lot think?

It’s like they each just picked a movie at random... There is no system... no logical progression... I don’t understand this... It’s going to keep me up for days...

I'd never consider those movies in that order!?! Maybe that’s what makes it brilliant... aaahhhh when you look at it that way... It is rather good… but I think I’m just trying to protect myself from the pain of it all.

Nice ending tho..
