He injured 4 people, according to a student of the college talking on a Radio Station.
After the gunman had finished shooting, he turned the weopon on himself, killing him.
It was confimed about half an hour ago that a student had been killed.
Does anyone else have anymore info on this?

As per the information available right now it has been confirmed that 4 people were killed. 2 of which were the people responsible for the whole scenario. One of them comitted suicide and the other was shot by the police forces. The other two who were killed were students from the college itself. 3 students are critically wounded and have been sent to hospitals for immediate treatment.
A station reported that there are up to 16 victims, however that is not confirmed yet by the police forces.
Man... This is just nuts...

So far confirmed of 10 victims, they could be teachers students maybe even the shotters, they don't know yet. 3 are critical. 1 apparently was shot in the back of the head. He's very mcuh still alive amazingly enough. One girl was shot in the hip and the hand. None of my friends were hurt there thank god. My best ones luckily enough didn't even go to school today.
I'm listening to the radio and it says NO ONE IS KILLED as of yet. I don'ty know where yuo got the info but I just hope it's wrong.
My friends friend got shot in the lef that's the only thing closest to me I know of.
The stories have been changing every hour it seems. Now, apparently, no students were killed though 20 were wounded, some critically. There were reports of two gunmen, then three, now it's back to one.
I'm hoping no students or teachers were killed. It's hard to get a straight answer.
Either way, it's sad to see something like this happen. I work six blocks from the college, which was also the same college I attended in '97. I still can't believe it.
There were helicopters all over the place and sirens going off all day. :(

There was supposedly to teachers shot. One woman died in the shooting. The ggunsman was shot by police during the shooting. Thats all i know. I found out about at school actually one of my friends had just come back from his house and he was watching the news he literally ran up to me and said "Did you here? There is a big shoot off at a Montreal university". I was shocked honestly and I also heard that he was a student there but im not sure if thats correct or not. Its just shocking really.

MONTREAL - A man in a black trench coat and a mohawk haircut opened fire Wednesday at a downtown Montreal college, slaying a young woman and wounding at least 19 other people before police shot and killed him, witnesses and authorities said. Police dismissed suggestions that terrorism played a role in the lunch-hour attack at Dawson College, where scores of panicked students fled into the streets after the shooting began. Some had clothes stained with blood; others cried and clung to each other. Two nearby shopping centers and a daycare center also were evacuated.
Montreal General Hospital said 11 people were admitted, including eight who were in critical condition. The nine others were taken to two other hospitals. One young woman later died, a police official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the victim's next-of-kin had not yet been notified.
thats what they are saying now

Yep, heard about the shootings. Terrible. Why would somebody want to take on innocent students anyway? It has been confirmed, 2 are now deceased (dead) and 20 has been injured, says the front page on my ISP news.

That's odd, 'cause now when I check online it says that there's one (1) woman killed and 19 others injured before the police shot the shooter.

I've heard stories that the shooter took his own life, and others say the police killed him. I don't think I've heard so many different stories at once. I'm still wondering if the shooter was a student there or not.
This is definitely the worst there's been since Marc Lepine in 1989. I was 9 at the time, though, so I don't remember it as well.
...Diddums...
My state still holds the world record for the single biggest gun masscre by a single person.
Port Aurthur ftw!!
But its sad that people do this..
And the guy was shot by the police after refusing to surrender his firearm..

What was the gunman's intentions to decide to open fire on the students? The police hasn't found out about that yet right?

Looks like another one of those "i hate the world" dudes who had something to prove. :/ He had no affiliation with the college at all.

I heard about this this morning on Sky News. Sadly, two of the injured aren't gonna make it.
Other from that I don't know much about it.
