Our electricity went out during prom for a half an hour, so we were all pretty bored. (who was going to do anything with the principal right there?)

Because he was a moron. It was his first year being in charge of anything but elementary school kids so that's what he treated us like. He even had cops sit in classes sometimes and gave speeches about how they are our "friends". He really was a moron. I heard this year he even took away early graduation, a lot of the seniors switched to the local catholic school - or so I heard.

yeah my 12th grade enlgish teacher was like that. when we got back from spring break she LITERALLY said: "so how was your vacation little ones?"

the dead silence and the need to beat her senseless with the first locatable object (our desks) was almost overwhelming.
