Just interested to know who else here played the noble game? XD

I play quite a lot - for my county U18 and U100 teams, and at tournaments whenever I can find any for my age group, which isn't often unfortunately...

Anyways, if anyone wants to play me, I'm always up for a game. Maybe we could find a site we could play through, or otherwise we could play by PMs?

I was on the Chess Team in highschool, but I don't think I was very good at it myself. I do have fond memories of the experience though.

I quit chess for GO. I used to play it (for 6 years) I studied the opens and won some tournaments in wisconsin. But even though its a good game, I just prefer go, its more fun for me :D

I was the head too, but our players sucked. They didn't even know any openings, it was funny seeing A2 - A4 at the start of the game.

I love playing Chess..and definitly love it more then checkers. LOL

I play it mostly recreationally and sometimes I play online and such. If I put my mind to it, I'm sure I could hone my skills. I'm definitly not a newbie to the game. :Domo

Itsovernow, if you're looking for someone to play chess in, I recommend Jimbozeubuen. He hangs out in the ClubBleach IRC channel instead of the forums. He loves to play chess/chinese chess/go. GO is fairly fun - I only started playing recently - but not nearly as fun as chess imo =D.

Yeah...wish they'd hold a chess tournament for the Gotei 13 - that would definitely be more fun than checkers =D.

i loved chess, i was one of the best in my school but then i would get so angry to come home and all of my familly would beat me soo easy =[ so i am alittle turned of it now but i used to like chess =D

I've always enjoyed mind-challenging games when compared to the physical ones, chess is no exception. Even though I'm not exactly brilliant at chess (as a matter of fact I suck XD) I enjoy playing it. My dad used to be ranked 3rd in the game all over Egypt back in his prime (which is the main reason why I get my butt kicked everytime I play against him), he is the one who actually encouraged me to learn the game and 'try' to get better at it. Its been a while since I last played the game (excluding my matches with Jaran, Jimbozeubeun and Maximoose, which I have lost miserably at by the way) which is why I'm quite rusty at the game. I intend to join the chess club this semester in university, but knowing the lazy bum I am I'll probably just forget about it :P.

I used to play years ago. Played in a few tournaments back in Cali but stopped playing the game a few years back when i moved to Michigan. I used to be good but now I don't know. I could always play a game or two. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to play. I'm sure yahoo games has chess right? Playing by PM might be annoying but if we can find a site then I'll play you for sure. But the first game you have to go easy on me for my warm-up. ^_^

I love chess. I played it a lot, but now I don't have anyone to play with. I guess I've gotten a little rusty at it. :D I need to find someone to play with eventually.... when I have the time.

Chess?!! I love the game!!....

...but the game doesn't love me, I never could win against anyone..well against anyone who play the game of course...I'm such a n0ob at it that I can't recognize the moves (you know those A2-A4 thingie) but I know what moves each pieces can and cannot do.

I play Chess. I am the Vice-Captain of the Chess team in my school =P. I take my time to think in chess and end up losing on time because of that -_-"

Hmm... I played chess only online. I played against a computer when I was like... 9 or 10. Then I stopped... and I played recently against Jimmy and got pwned.

But it was still a nice... er... experience. I guess if anyone wants someone to make their sucky skills look better, I'm the girl right here. :P

I am the vice-president of my school's chess club. I'm not the best player, though. I do think chess is a very fun and challenging game. I also know how to play Chinese Chess, but I suck at that even more.

Awwww, I love chess! I was in the Chess Club in middle school, went to a few chess club meetings a couple of years ago, but since then..not so much. The unofficial chess club at my school is kind of lame..and run by underclassmen. =\

BUT I beat all their asses down when I played. :3

I play. I am not a big player because there are not a hole lot of players in my area that can beat me :(, but if I find a new opponent I go against him. Oh, and, I am not saying that I am THAT good it is just that the area were I live does not have a lot of chess players.

I play quite a bit of chess. Multiple games each day, though most of them 2d on a computer screen. At first the whole 2d messed my game up completely, but i'm getting much better at it.

Just came back from the Interschool State finals yesterday. I managed to get a distinction cert (no high distinction for me, pah!) and the highest score of my team. Individual scores put me at 10th out of 120 players. Not too bad.

In Bendigo, for the regionals, i was the only person to achieve a perfect 7/7 games, placing me at first, against 64 other senior players.

wow... good job... yep... only in an hour will i be going to my tourney... feels like last year.... last year... i was captain.. the ONLY junior captain we have ever had... and we won region... unfortunaly we did not have enough people qualify to go to state... this year it is different... and i will lead my team to another region victory... btw..Sendivoge... we need to play... lol...

I'm always up for a game. I prefer real chess, but 2d seems to be ok heh. My openings are my weakness.

How many people are required for a team there? I'm surprised you couldn't qualify just because of that. A team of 4 means all points are counted from each player, in australia, but i've seen teams of 3 more than once... though they're not likely to win further than regionals heh.

yea we count the top 4 boards as part of our score... but we must have 5 people participate in at least 3 out of 4 tourneys...

i love my openings... i use pawn warfare to my advantage... i would have to say my end game sucks... although i usually end it in mid game...lol..

welp... im getting offf... got to go pwn some schools and show them some southeast bulloch chess playing skillzzz... i will post results...

up to a couple years ago, i played a lot of chess until my schedule caught up with me.
now, i play chess on a tennis court. lol

until recently, i've started playing a little, but i noticed i've lost a lot of my games and reflexes. guess i'll have to get into a habit of playing again...
