I'm reading To Kill A Mocking Bird. Ugh. I guess the school has a thing for pretentious books....it's very boring. My suggestion to read The White Sand Road was totally turned down. I didn't even read books the last couple of years in High School. I just went off of the description on the back to write any papers. As for when specific examples were needed, I would just flip to a random page and make that example work some how. I gave up on English because I took both 9th and 10th grade english my freshman year but when i moved right before sophomore years they made me retake 10th grade english because they wanted me to take it there for it to count. even tho i had an A the first time i took it. They did the same thing with chemistry because I took that my freshman year as well as Biology and they were like "Oh, we are dumb" and made me retake it. So I just failed em and then I moved again(not because of the school) and they accepted my freshman grades for the classes.

I gots to take this PSAT (Preliminary Standart Aptitude Test) tomorrow. Yes, it's Saturday tomorrow, but I still gotta get up at 7:30am to get to school at 8:30am for this damn exam. My parents want me to take this exam to 'keep my options open' for university (as this opens up the possiblity of US schools). It's good in a way for the long run, but it's a big pain in the ass in my life right now.

Then the Skytrain was also cramped and I couldn't get off at the Science World/ Stadium Station so I had to ride the train all the way to Waterfront and then wait for it to loop back to Science World. I was 20 minutes late. My teacher got pissed.

I sledged my feet all the way home since by that time, some of the snow melted but later refroze as hard ice. Just 40 minutes ago, my neighbour called me to help shove up the hard snow and ice off of our street. It was hard work but it must be done since the temperature for the next 3 days are -10 degrees or so.

Vancouver + Snow Storm + Cold Temp = total suckness.

Of course, probably most of you don't know what I'm ranting on about since you aren't vancouverites. Except for RefrieD of course. =]

I'm living in central Florida and a week ago we actually got a little bit of snow at night(Something that hasn't happened in ages). I was getting all excited because I like the cold weather, it's something different from the norm and I'm originally from the north. Now it's back in the 80s :sad. Oh well, guess it all depends on what you're used to.

Other than this last weekend when it snowed, November was a month of rain. We, in Vancouver, broke the past rainfall record for amount of rain in 24 hours this November.

The unexpectedly heavy rains this November also caused a water contamination with the amount of silt that entered the reservoir. The whole Lower Mainland (i.e. Vancouver and surrounding municipal districts), except for a few sections of the city, have been forced to boil water for drinking.

yuck... i hate commuting. but i do it for work. i hated it for school and i didn't have my car. luckily when i was taking the bus to college, it was a line that came by every 10 minutes. i remember when we tried to go to pearlridge on the weekend. i think it took us two hours to get there , we could only stay for like an hour and a half and then catch the last bus back that took two hours to get home :lol

i'm so glad i can drive and get stuck in traffic and listen to the music i want to hear and smoke when i feel like it :lol

aaaahhh... curry udon, the wonder of the curry world. take an order of regular curry, add in some udon noodles, top it off with shredded nori, chopped green onions and any other topping of your choice (including takoyaki now!! :3) and wah lah!!! curry udon!

add in a pair of hashi and large wooden ladle/spoon and you have the most wonderful, awesomest, yummy, delicious, exquisite, oishi meal in the world! besides the takoyaki that you can buy at shirokiya a couple of times a year when the japanese restaurant comes to visit :lol but that's another story! :3
