I play poker night every week (hold em')

I only started like 2 months ago, but the highest I ever gotten is 2nd place. It is really fun, but some games just last through the whole night, lol. Right into 7 am, lol.

I love poker. Not too good at it because when I'm having bad luck then I don't know when to quit but besides that if it's not for real money then I'm always up for a game. Normally Hold 'em but I like playing where dealer chooses game so it switces it up and makes it more interesting. Harder to judge your opponents I think.

Last week I sucked. I guess I was tired because I just finished marching in a parade and stuff (yeah, I am in marching band).

But I got good hands and stuff (A/K, K/J, Q/J, and more picture card combination), but cards I don't need showed up in the flop and stuff like that.

Proudest moment ever (from all games I played), I called my friend's "all in" holding a 2/7 off suit, and I won, lol.

I play Texas hold em'. No biggie. I am not super good at it, but at least i know how to fold, but I get the habit of betting too much.

Texas holdem, never played other versions of it.

Its too much based on luck, though you do need some common sense into this game :)

Rember the card you have the cards that came up on the flop 4th street and te river in hold em. Guess on what yer oppenents threw away cause they were crappy. And rember who yer playing heads up against usually has a decent hand. If you cant get a basic idea of what cards are in play and what you and yer players threw away you would get waxed. I saw this on PPTV is that when pro poker players think of calling a bet its not the bet thier thinking of its the cards thier guessing that have been eliminated.

I play hold em( limit and no limit). i'm pretty good, and im actually considering to enter into the world series of poker in 2008, when im 21. I've played for money, and I won(wasn't alot of money cuz me and my friend were broke :)
so yeah ive been told im pretty good, and good enough to play in the world series of poker. so idk maybe. :Domo

I like to play Texas hold 'em. I would say that I'm about average. I've won a few times when I get the chance to play. I like watching the WSOP on ESPN, those are fun to watch.

I'm a super hold'em fan. ever since I saw the world poker tour, I've been playing with friends. It only gets real intense and competitive if you get money involved, (of course, I've lost a lot of money this way).

I dunno how Poker works exactly and I had no idea there was more than one way to play it.
I watched Celebrity Joker Poker a lot and however they played it... is the way I play it.. I dunno what its called either T.T

ROFL. Celebrity poker has got to be the worst poker on tv >.>

Well I consider myself fairly good at Texas Holdem. I played this game everynight with stakes of about $100 each person (at least 6 ppl) for a few months straight. Then I got online and played the same way and won over $2000 over the course of one week.

.....then my parents caught me and everything was confiscated >.>

I'm willing to pwn anyone in hold'em here. er.....play =)

I like it, tough I'm not really with the rules:D, I believe it is Texas we usually play, but anyways it fun tough we never really play for money (normally with things like M&M's :P...and then I always eat them during the game:p...including those of others)

Bah, I hate(d, is it still going on?) the damn "poker-fever" or whatever. Who interesting is it to watch others play poker, seriously? It's fun sometimes to play with friends. And not texas hold 'em. Why? Cause it's sucks! Old-school poker ftw!

Although I'm better at blackjack... Cause I know how to cheat :D

well I LOVE to watch poker. Any serious player enjoys watching professionals play. You don't like to watch it because it does not interest you. For people who are poker players it is quite interesting.

So is anyone watchin the new Poker World Series this year? When is the main Event? I could not stand Gold last years winner. I hope a cool pro takes it down again this year. I wanna see Ivey win a bunch!

Rofl, the wsop main event is coming up soon...and Jamie Gold sucks. He gets pwned by all the pro's and still thinks he's good. It's hilarious watching him play because he's such a donk. He thinks he can bluff Doyal Brunson >.>
Anyways, the playing field in the main event this year will be a lot smaller, unlike last year.

hey, is there a poker site where you can make your own poker table/rooms? If so we should make a CB room if there are enough people who play online on a regular basis.. We tried getting a guild together in an online game before but if failed quite quickly so perhaps this might be a stretch, but if enough play regularly it should work out.. I play on Full Tilt and as far as i know you can not make your own room.
oh and btw. Poker is not a sport, its an intense card game :whatevah:

I play pacific poker and i'm not sure if you can make your own room, probably not =(

I mostly play Omaha hi/lo and Texas hold'em =)
Btw i almost always play limit poker in real life (you can't go all in) because i think its way easier ^^
Online i play with all-in cuz i don't really care if i lose or win a hand, i don't know those people and its not real money
