I know I'm not the only one here who has purchased a firearm and goes target shooting or something of that nature, so I'm curious as to what everyone else is packing and what their favorite company is.

Currently I own in my posession a Ruger P-90 .45 APC, a Taurus Tracker .45 LC, a Sig Sauer P229 .40 S&W, and a Yugoslavian SKS 7.62 x 39 mm.

Airsoft does have the distinct advantages of being A. cheaper and B. you can shoot your friends without worrying too much about criminal charges. Unfortunetly I need the practical experience I get from practicing with firearms for my (inpending) job.

I'm more of a colt fan when it comes to revolvers, what what model of .44? The classic or one of the newer models?

Also, how does that .500 fire? I heard it actually doesn't have as much recoil as most people would think. Also, how much did it cost you? Everytime I see one, they're like 1400 dollars.

I have a classic .44 realy old. It was my dads before and Its black just like the one in dirty harry so it reay looks like a old heavy revolver. The 500 recoil wasnt as bad as I thought. I shot it 3 times and my rist hurt but I was expecting a 1 shot thats all for my hand today deal. It is worse than my classic 44 but that is classic the 500 is new.
