One of my very favorites mangas. Naru Narusegawa is my number one favorite female anime/manga character. \o/

I love it so much because at the time I was reading the manga I was applying for college too. So lots of special meaning to me. (Except for I didnt fail like Keitaro did =P)

i agree! love hina is a very funny and refreshing manga.
a good balance between the funny scenes and the "love scenes".
each character is unique and has its role to play. my favorite is naru she has a lot personalities and is diverse.

I started off watching the anime like 6 years ago, which was uber, and then downloaded all the soundtracks which was uber, and then read the manga, which has nice artwork. i was addicted to it, but then naruto, and bleach came along. and you know

they also said the mangaka went bankrupt, that's why they stopped the anime.

Naru is my favorite anime girl character of all time. See can be both hot/sexy and cute. Not too mention Naru is pretty intelligent too being able to enter the University of Tokyo.

Shinobu is so cute and shy. Her voice is really cute.

i just started watching Love Hina..its preety good so far :) i like Motoko the best from the girls and Seta from the guys lol...hes innocently cute..for his age

This was the first manga I read and it still remains one of my favorites. Motoko was my favorite character, I always loved the character in anime that was your prototypical anime girl who had a thing against guys and chased after them with swords.

Sadly compared to the manga the anime was really disappointing to me.

Love Hina is one of those series that is able to provide mindless entertainment that is enjoyable to watch either alone or with friends.

Later, however, all the quirks of the series that made it appealing in the first place are beginning to get very old. It’s time for a change. The humor in the series revolves mainly around the slapstick angle of the girls resorting to random bursts of unjustifiable violence. This, unfortunately, stops being funny after a while, and renders some of the girls extremely stupid, hen-pecking, paranoid, and annoying. They don’t listen to reason, they have no patience… in short, some of the girls make the viewing experience a truly exasperating one.

Another downfall of this volume that decreases the value of the series is the complete lack of coherence or consistency in the plot. While the randomness in the earlier episodes still had a background plot that tied them together, these four episodes are farfetched and outlandish beyond reason. For example, Naru becomes a pop idol in one of the episodes, only to have that incident never to be brought up ever again.

With the main element of humor gone, and the story line rendered useless, this volume of Love Hina is one of the worst in the series.

Im actually glad they didnt continue a second season of love hina because it would of gotten way too repetitive. all that happened was keitaro gets flashed, yelled at, and smacked around. Wash, Rinse, Repeat (or however that saying goes) it was entertaining for a while but in the end, it could only attract a very "limited" fanbase. I think it was just a weaker version of GTO.
And im not bashing this series cause it does have nice artwork, and story
