Just finished reading Fight: 93. So much crazy stuff going on all at once. But so far I have a fair grasp at what's going on. So far Souhaku is a pretty good "bad guy" right now. Somehow I think I will be shocked and amazed by him later on.

I wonder if there'll be a reincarnation of the little "maiden" girl with the Ameterasu's Dragon Gate later on during the story? Or if it'll be necessary anyway?

Up to this point, from what I have read so far. I think the chip will point to that. But it's already been said what info it contains. Guess I'm just confusing what has happened in the past to what will happen in the future.

Just finished reading Fight:112. Friggn' Christ man. Never thought Maya would contain the Ameterasu Dragon's Gate. That blew me away. Explained a lot for Shin's actions when Tawara mentioned it.

The Aya and Kabame fight was amazing as well. Nice growth by Aya during that fight and Kabame is one tough cookie man. Yeah he's cool. lol

Agreed, can't wait to see how Double Impact vs. Mitsuomi turns out. Wouldn't be surprised if it does turn out like the Tawara vs. Shin either. (By the way, Tawara got totally beefed up those last 2 chapters. He take roids or what? lol Worked well for dramatic effect though.)

Managed to read the chapter a while ago. Shocked and amazed. One punch to end it all. Double Impact down for the count. Nice chapter really. Loved the artwork, especially all the arcs with both of Tawara's and Mitsuomi's bodies. The fight is over, don't know what to expect of the next chapter.

It's longer and it isn't censored. The anime had parts cut off or changed because of nudity and whatnot.

Thats fine Silver, once you get passed episode 24 the anime differs. Besides Im not sure if you care but if you havnt read past chapter 55 you are missing some of the best drawings you will see in a manga. Look at the Kabane dude with the swords through his body in my sig.

The anime only goes up to about chapter 50 anyways and they are not going to produce anymore episodes. So you will be left with a unsatisfied feeling imo

Here is your summary :)

Tenjho Tenge (天上天下, Tenjō Tenge?, lit. "Heaven and Earth") is an ongoing Japanese manga authored by Oh! great. The story primarily focuses on the members of the Juken Club and their opposition, the Executive Council, which is the ruling student body of a high school that educates its students in the art of combat. As the story unfolds, both groups become increasingly involved with a ongoing battle that has been left unresolved for four hundred years.

The plot begins with Souichiro Nagi and his friend Bob Makihara going to their first day of high school at Todo Academy. They had intended to rule the school by beating up anybody that got in their way, as they had done at their previous schools. They soon learn that Todo is no ordinary high school with ordinary students, but is a school that was founded to teach and integrate different fighting styles. Its students are skilled in the various arts of combat with some students possessing supernatural abilities, such as pyrokinesis, precognition, and superhuman strength based of the abilities to use their "spirit" or "ki" in japanese. After an altercation with the Executive Council, Souichiro and Bob join the only surviving club that opposes them, the Juken club. As the storyline develops, both groups find they are becoming increasingly involved in a long enduring conflict that was left unresolved from the Japanese Feudal era by some of the characters' ancestors.

Some quick info this is not a shounen manga like naruto and bleach that come out weekly. This is more seinen manga aimed for older people 18+, and it comes out monthly the story is featured in Shueisha's Ultra Jump.

Trust me silver once you get past chapter 55 and they start going into white feather and red feather families and their abilities you will enjoy the story and the art much much more. Because from about chapter 30-50 its about the past which is pretty much the majority of the anime, but from that point on its current time then feudal era then current time again. You seem to think the anime is better, you might be the only one lol

The easiest way to understand the feudal arc with out wikin it is to read re-read everything that Nagi Ichiyo talks about, and pay close attention to when he talks about Sohaku. That worked for me. I hope we are in for a good chapter but I have a feeling that Maya will awake and stop the fight or somethin

Soichiro has Sohaku's right eye, and has been implied to be aware of it (Can't think of the chapter number off the top of my head). Sohaku (seen by Aya's Dragon's Eye) is evidently laying dormant in Soichiro, waiting for his dragon to take control again before revealing himself.

We saw a serious Masataka in the second fight of the serious, when he beat Souchiro to a pulp. We also got a good view that Masataka has the "Rage" power like Bunshichi.

I'm really interested in seeing how Bob develops. He's always been in Soichiro's shadow, but the Madoka fight gave us insight into some of his capabilities that can be refined.

1st: The girl with the stiched eyes name is Nui, she is Kabane Hirohiko's sister. I dont know if any of you caught this but Hirohiko has pupils now. What that means I do not know.

2nd: Nagi is Tsukuyomi. He culd could because Tsukuyomi-Right eye Amatrasau-Left eye, Susanoo-Nose. Susanoo could be the Kabane because he can smell things but I doubt it and its prolly a Takayanagi brother. Mitsuomi imo because I think it was foreshadowed in earlier chapters when they broke Nagi out

Perhaps they will fight and the winner will be Tsukuyomi.

Yes. Tenjou Tenge is a Seinen Manga that comes out once a month. Scanlations usually arrive 2-3 weeks after that - recently that is.

If someone tried to explain to you what happend we would be writing for about a hour. Basically what you saw in the anime and OVA's is about 20-30% of the manga. They stopped the anime because it wasn't that good and it was catching the manga which is only released monthly. If you want to know what happend just read the manga from chapter 50 up.

Aaah... I just catched up, started reading the manga a few days ago. Was kinda surprised @ the (epic) gore scenes shown after the early chapters, it just didn't looked like the type of manga that would show flying limbs and organs flying around (didn't know it was seinen either). Didn't really expected to see so much sexual and nude stuff either (not that I care :awe: )

I was eager to read the next chap and then I read here next chap is on a month, wtf, bs! ;_;

Anyway, I might just reread the flashback chapters while waiting for the new chaps. Honestly, I didn't understood 75% of that part, mainly cuz I got scared of the insane amounts of text those chapters had xd

This manga could have been epic if there was someone to help Oh! Great with the storyline. He goes off on so many tangents that it becomes pointless to keep your interest in the plot line any more. But the guy can draw! He has so much style in each and every frame that it alone is sufficient to drag the manga forward. Its a pity that he can't keep the plotline together to save his life.

Yeah I am not saying that the original plot of Tenjou Tenge is not good enough. The problem comes when the side stories and flashbacks go on for so long that you lose track of where the main story was. Luckily its nearing its climax now so the plotline is coming together. The funny thing about this manga is that its hard to say who is the main character here. It could be Souchiro, Masataka, Maya or even Aya. Most probably its Masataka since he was narrating the story when the manga first started but we will have to see.

i havent read until the end because i got confused i thought they would have gone right through to the preliminaries but they didnt and thats what everyone is waiting on and the anime upset me as well i dont understand why they are taking so long to do the rest
