I would like to know about where did the anime end in relation to the manga. What chapter? I would like to see what happens next. Also does anyone know where I could get all of the pencil boards that came with the English DVDs. I have a few of them but I am missing a couple. I tried Ebay but no luck. Anyway I really liked the anime. I know that it was slightly changed from the manga but I still like it.

Have they ever said anything about any of the family of Emi Isuzu, Bunshichi Tawara, and Souichiro Nagi other than Souichiro's mother. I would like to know about Emi and Bunshichi. Do they have a brother, sister, or cousin? I know that there is a lot of back history as in way back history that they have explored.

Well no they dont have brothers or sisters and they havnt realy talk about thier families except thier a branch family of Mitsuomi's family (Tawara is not part of the branch Family). They do talk about Nagi's father Souhaku who is evil and he is in my avatar

Please do reply. I liked the seires, it's just that I don't understand 'em...I shall try to expain. It is about I guess 4 people in specific. Nagi who is needed to beat Mitsuomi. Aya who can see Shouhaku inside of Nagi with her dragon eyes. Maya who feels Mitsuomi has been corupted by his power. And Mitsuomi who want to take the best fighters to the pinikle of the martial arts world.

Nagi's deal is he is a deamon excorsist. A type pf warior who kills demons by becoming deamons. Maya wants to use Nagi to beat Mitsuomi in the for presidency of the toudo gauken academy. Nagi has a father who I guess is a evil villan who cant die and has powers after death (Souhaku). Souhaku is currently inside of Nagi. 1 of souhaku's subbordinates (inue) Pulls out Nagi's eye and puts in Souhaku. It seems Souhaku is waitng for the election tournament to kill Mitsuomi before he dies and take over Nagi and claim the top spot and all the power in the Martial arts world.

Maya's gate is Wood. Nagi's gate is Earth, Ishiyumi's gate is Water.

And.... The Takayanagi family controls the top of the Japanese Martial Arts world. I don't know the details but it has been this way since ancient times. They say that the heroes of ancient myths and legends were the Takayanagi ancestors, but that is just the prevailing modern interpretation. They are a family of charismatic heroes, and the descendants of the families that came to their aid are the 12 Founding Families. They have been careful to keep their lineage pure since the ancient times so they are the same as back then. For that reason, the Takayangi family and the 12 Founding Families have a sort of counter-measure relationship, and you can say that the Takayanagi family is representative of the 12 Founding Families. But the Takayanagi's fundamentally have stronger abilities due to their direct relationship to the heroes of the past.

Nagi had more than one person aiming at him so they could switch off or gang up on a target. Masataka did surprise them and only had one person aiming at him and he hadn't shot the first shot yet. But, I'd bet that Masataka can gather his ki faster just because I remember when he got that toothpick to block Nagi's punch early on, which had to be pretty fast. IDK, personally I think it's hard to tell the difference in time in a manga.

Thats not why their makin the anime still. Actually in the manga the last OVA never happens in the manga. Somethings do but the major fight does not. Read the manga Xinfinity better

Only the beggiin is perverted later on it gets more gory. But the anime is a waste of time. I sugest you read your chatpters slowly because you will be caaught up before you know it. Then you will have to wait a month like us.

Just watch the anime first to get a feel of it, then read the manga. Because if you start reading the manga first, it's completely worthless to watch the anime lol. The animation sucks too.

One for me was when Mitsuomi (I don't know there names well enough to know how to spell them) was trying to get Maya to join their new club (with Shin) so they were like challenging each other in things like fighting games and karaoke, and they were both so good it was like a tie everytime XDD

And then that picture of them on the motorcycle :)

And Maya's sister crying in the rain with reiki in her hand when she saw who Soichiro loves with her dragon eyes

Also when Maya almost died using Reiki against iron man :p

And new look Soichiro saying "You'll die" to wrestling guy when he wanted to fight him

And lets remember that Tetsuhito had Makiko's dragon put in his eye and had the Dragons fist and all her techniques to begin with. You have to wonder if Tetsuhito is even on the same level as Hirohiko wich I doubt he would be close without Souchiro's mom eye

Without the eye Tetsuhito only has his Iron Skin, which would still make him formidable. I don't think Souhaku would keep around weak people, always useful people . And although, the future generations have been said to be stronger than their ancesters, there's no proof that it applies to the ones that have lived throughout the entire time (Souhaku and Tetsuhito basically). Hell, we haven't even seen Souhaku fight yet but Maya was afraid of what would happen if she didn't get the Reiki to them before they found Souhaku.

To the story, Nagi thinks Masataka is the strongest. That's very interesting and we haven't seen much to counter it. And to be honest, sets up more for the Perfect Warrior v. the Perfect Demon. Perhaps Nagi thinks it's inevitable that Souhaku will take over his body. Hirohiko being that strong surprised me, really. And he's pretty bad ass for a lover lol.

I have not got to read 110 yet cause of my unzip prgrams but I get the whole arc verry well. I mean if you cant understand the the time arc then you got no idea who Kabane and shojo are the present and the past era. I got who Souhaku was pretty well I mean yeah I had to re read it a few times but their was no misunderstanding. I think it was made pretty clear why they were trying to kill Souhaku more than what Souhaku was doing.

I thought it was made clear everyone else seems to get cought up in the pointless small sublots that make things more compelling. But a I will try to explan from my veiw now that I get Devil's Q.

Kago Souhaku was disrupting peace so the red feather families came to stop him. He learned that and built a barrier to awake power users around the world. It failed he got stabbed hid in a dogs eye. Went into his enemy's eye and promised he would be good. Now that that failed he experimented with Nagi's mom instead of awakening everyone he would just put their abilities into her. It failed he used Nagi and now he is in Nagi till it works. Which is why you saw him experimenting on Souchiro's mom.

Oh yeah by the way Im not sure if you guys know this but alot of Souhaku and and Dogen and Kabane, Shojo, and Mitsuomi stuf has to do with red feather resonance effect with awaking those with power destroying em in stuff. If you guys reread the stuff with Dogen in particular alot of the feudal arc will make sence :)

/me advises you guys to not put so much emphasis on people like Nagi, Masataka their storys will be different and pay more attension to people like Dogen, Shojo, Kabane...etc the people pulling the strings. After all this is not shounen :p *

- He failed once because the war was going on, and a large revolution was at hand, the Red Feathers came to stop him by sending Natsume, Needles, etc to kill him while the fighting is outside the castle.

- They succeeded, but they killed him, not his eyeball, where his powers are at.

- He sneakingly implanted himself into another person - the next leader, the Meiji Era begins.

- He experiments in creating a body that can exceed death and mortality.

- He wants one that can really fight, has ample Ki to waste, a red feather, or if better, a whole lot of red feathers powers.

- So Souichiro was his best try, a family that can absorb powers. He wants him.

- So this tournament now, with him already in Souichiro's left eye, is the awakening ceremony.

I started to read the manga since I really liked the anime a lot when I 1st watched it. I was told that the manga was a lot better so I decided to start from the beginning of the manga, and so far into chapter 15, and LOVING it much more than the anime.

This past champter was a good action chapter. Kinda makes me wonder who good Tawara would do against the real one

This chapter pissed me off. Bunshichi is one of the best damn characters in the manga and then this happens! It leads you to believe that he stands on equal ground with one of the strongest characters in the story and then it just turns out to be that chick and he gets his ass whooped from behind.

I still continue to read every chapters that come out but honestly I lost track of the story a long time ago.

I dont understand anything since the " flashback " that took place in medieval japan.

So when a new chapter comes out I read it, I enjoy the fighting and then I go read something else.

At first it was one of the best seinen I had ever read ( at the top with Samurai Deeper Kyo or Bleach ) but since the story got complicated I almost stopped reading it.

Well. So far I have read the first 2 vol.s and must say that it's very entertaining and graphic at that too. Which just adds to the enjoyment. Very curious to see how much stronger everyone else will get in the later vol.s.

yeah. You will enjoy the chapter directly following the flash back from like fights 30-49, the next 20 fights after that in my opinion are the most enjoyable and most graphic with.

The second past arc was seriously confusing, took me a while before I actually figured out what the hell was going on, but other than that it just keeps getting awesomer. <3

Well so far I have read up to the end of vol.11 and WOW..... lot's of craziness goes on after the "past" arc (which I loved). Nagi and his "Dragon Punch" is just insane. Blew me away when I saw him use the "Water Bullets" or "Blood Bullets". So next time he goes berserk I'll be expecting to see the "Dragon Claw". Sucked what happened to his mom. She's had it rough.

At this moment Bob also surprised me too. Nice to see some development on him. Well like I said, lot's of craziness going on with all the main characters.

manga is by far way better thats why Im saying dont get to into the manga when the story get interesting which is ware you are at now, and decide not to see the anime.

Just make sure you arnt getting the CMX manga version the edit to much out.

I'm still waiting for Masataka to actually fight someone seriously. The story seems to be setting itself up for a nice Masataka fight but not anytime soon, methinks, unfortunately. He's one of my favorites, although it's hard not to like someone in this manga.
