It seems that with every issue, we are to provide our readers with an update of the recent changes in Club Bleach. So why don't we get right to business and list the newest developments on the forum ;3
The most important change, in my opinion as a captain and a member of the Gotei system, It is the New system of joining Divisions:
So, how does this new system work? Well for members who want to join, it is quite simple: all you have to do is first of all read the rules of all the Divisions. See if you have the requirements, then head to your CP then click group membership, to chose the Division you want. You must of course understand that you will not have an immediate answer given to you, so wait patiently until the captain of the Division you applied for accepts you in. The second big change is the adding of more CB codes, which are detailed as follows:
1. Club Bleach search, which helps you to search for anything IN the forums.
2. Wikipedia, which provides you with a link to the item you wanted in Wikipedia.
3. Google allows you to point people towards a google search.

Now to discuss the new Warning and Ban Section. This new section was added for better organization, and to usher in more respect for the rules. To know more about this new section, you can visit it: here (http://forums.bleachportal.net/forumdisplay.php?f=158)
The GFX forum is a very important and popular forum in CB, it has various sections, includes a new section which has been recently added, the classification section, where people post their work, and then they are classified into ranks according to their skills.
I think most of you noticed the new tags beneath our names, those tags are in my opinion a beautiful attachment to our profiles, and they differ from Gotei members to other members, from one division to another one and so on.
And finally, a lot of forum bugs have been fixed, like new post arrows on forum home, global announcement, buddy list, and a few more that we didn’t even know existed! ;)
Well, I hope my brief summary was informative enough, and hopefully more and more changes will occur to make CB the best. if it can actually surpass where it is already!

Ok, so this is an experimental element that has recently been added to the NL, and we’re calling it ‘Your Say.’ Basically a random topic was chosen and something written about it. Any members with interesting ‘Your Say’ articles are welcome to submit them! But please bare in mind that we are not trying to spark off any political wars or offensive remarks. ;)
Your say: Kootje on Overeating.
A good place to start: what is overeating? Most people overeat (especially in the holidays, Christmas or Thanksgiving), but what is it? Simply put, overeating is actually when you eat more then you need, not necessarily mean that you’re fat. I can state that I myself overeat, yet my weight is lower than the standard weight for my height and age. Some people describe overeating as a person eating what they like and eat more than the average person. Overeating isn’t a medical problem for the most part. It may, however, sometime accompany Bulimia and other deseases, thought this is only in extreme cases.
Some people get fat due to overeating, and do not have the so-called ‘perfect’ body anymore, which can turn into a problem. In my opinion people care too much about looking like a model. This is the reason diseases like Bulimia Nervosa and Anorexia Nervosa exist. When you first notice that you gain weight because of overeating with Thanksgiving for an example, you shouldn’t just jump into a diet. Most of the time this doesn’t work - I know this out of experience from family members and friends. Ask yourself the question: “Why did I gain weight?” Not “How do I get rid of it?”
Overeating is a bad thing. Why should you eat candy, chocolate and crisps? Because you can! They are sweet and may contain certain chemicals that cause some people actually get addicted to them, so one should also remember not to eat too much! We eat because we can, and this is a terrible habit. We keep eating candy while some people can’t even make a decent meal. Yet overeating is accepted, when you eat 3 chocolate bars nobody will scream that you’re fat, yet that’s already overeating. Most people think that only the really fat people overeat, while actually more than half of the western civilization does it. Many people who are overweight actually eat quite healthily but that may already be too late. In my opinion one should watch themselves; overeating is dangerous yet we do it! Maybe it’s the enjoyment and the taste? Maybe we’re just too used to it? I’ll let you decide.

A Avatars Tale
You might not realise it but for some time i've had the same Avatar..Namely Ryuho from Scryed..For how long you ask..About two years..
A few days ago i decided that i would no longer use that Avatar here and therefore retire it so to that effect i decided to ask the community to make me a new Avatar..
The conditions that i had were these.

I would like an avatar that reflects the same sort of feeling..
The size i wouldn't like anything smaller then i currently have but you can go up to 150 - 150 if you want...
Apart from that let your imagination run wild..Choose any character out of any anime...
In other words it was a nice way to see what the artists here could do..And to that effect i got several replys from people all showing different Avatars and finally chose the avatar that i'm currently wearing..

This avater was made for me by I Hate You (http://forums.bleachportal.net/member.php?u=13093) it was the one which i most liked and which i thought most pertained to my personallity... IHY was most profilic in his reply making about 7 avatars all excellent quality and mentally challanging..Using his mind of imagination and deciet IHY managed to make these many avatars for my personal use and i must say that he deserves all congratulations and credit which is deserved by such an active and contributing member..A member of the 13th div as well as a regular poster in the Sotw's IHY manages to fufill the requirements for a good rolemodel for newcomers and such.
It is too this effect that i propose that ClubBleach Forums creates a welcoming commitee and place on it amongst other people IHY since he's such a contributing member and role model. This commitee's sole job will be to ensure every person that posts in the intro thread is welcomed by all members of the group and that they get any help they require as well as buddying with them to ensure that they stay active and enjoy all that this place has to offer.

I.R.C - Now Recruiting!
Let’s start off simply: What is I.R.C?
An IRC network is a collection of servers connected together. When you log onto an IRC network, you are connecting to one of the servers on that network. Since all the servers are connected to each other you are connected to all the other users who are logged into the network, even though they may not be connected to the same server as you. All servers on a network share and have access to the same information. Each server knows who is on the network, what channel that user is on, and which server the user is on as well.
Next: What is a channel?
A channel is similar to a chat room; when you speak, everyone else in the channel hears you too. You can use IRC to talk in channels, or to talk privately to your friends. You can also use IRC to join channels that are dedicated to file-sharing, music, videos, you name it! The choice is yours!
Here is a list of the IRC clients that are available:

Certain clients such as “Trillian” allow you to access your AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo and IRC all at the same time. This is the link where you can find out more about trillian : http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/.
mIRC is the most popular IRC, and certainly the oldest, client around. You can download this client service from www.mirc.com.
Hydra IRC is another popular one and is based on the design of “bersirc”. Its layout is a lot neater than that of mIRC and even has its own channel for FAQS. The HydraIRC download page is http://www.hydrairc.com/index.php?page=downloads.
These are just some of the many options one has available to them. For the download links of the clients I haven’t included, you can simpley Google the name of the IRC program you’re looking for, and see what you find ;)
Now once you’ve downloaded the program, go to “Settings” and enter your desired username, nick name, and server. In the server window, select “Rizon”. Once you have entered all your settings, click ‘connect’. Once the server window says “connect to irc.rizon”, go to “join”. This is where you enter #clubbleach. NOTE: there are no spaces in IRC channel names.

Four conspicuous persons sat around a green circular table in a dim room.
Ai picked up his cards. A king of hearts and a jack of clubs.
“Playable…” He thought, throwing $200 into the pot to call. He looked at the other four with his poker face to study their reactions. He watched Sanzora. She looked at her cards and shot him a disgusted glance. “What’s her problem?” he thought. He watched her throw $200 in the pot to call. He then moved his gaze to Nichigosan. He stared at his cards for a while and then shot Ai an appalled gaze. “What’s with people today? Is there something on my face?” he thought as he watched Nichigosan call. He watched he dealer take three cards from the deck and placed them face down. The dealer then revealed them. A 7 of spades, a queen of diamonds and a king of clubs.
“Excellent” he thought.
Sanzora picked up her cards. A king of spades and a jack of hearts. She looked up and noticed Ai making a sexually suggestive peek her way.
“Is he perving on me?” she thought and shot him a sickened look. She threw $200 into the pot to call. She looked at the dealer during Nichigosan’s move. He or She was a rather short person with long hair. Sanzora couldn’t figure out the dealer’s gender. She then saw the dealer place three cards on the table. A 7 of spades, a queen of diamonds and a king of clubs. “Exquisite” she thought.
Nichigosan picked up his cards. A king of diamonds and a jack of spades. He looked up and noticed Ai making a sexually suggestive glimpse in his direction.
“Is he perving on me?” he thought and shot him a disgusted look. He threw $200 into the pot to call. He saw the dealer place three cards on the table. A 7 of spades, a queen of diamonds and a king of clubs. “Kinky” He thought.
The dealer delt two cards each to the three players. The dealer noticed the first man making sexually suggestive glances at the other two. Once they had all called the dealer took three cards from the deck and placed them on the table. A 7 of spades, a queen of diamonds and a jack of diamonds. The players all seemed to have smug looks on their faces. All three players called instantly at the sight of the king. The dealer then placed the fourth card on the table. A king of clubs had made its way to the table. The first man looked like he was about to wet himself. The woman looked like she had won the lottery. The second man’s eyes had popped right out of their sockets.
“I raise $400” said the first man.
“I re raise you $800” said the woman.
“I re raise you $2000” said the second man.
The other two players called the $2000 and anxiously awaited the last card. The dealer took the last card and placed it on the table. An interesting little king of hearts found its way to the table.
Ai, too stupid to realize he had a king of hearts in his hand said,
“I raise my left testicle!”
“Ill call with my left breast!” said Sanzora anxiously.
“Ill call with my right testicle” Shouted Nichigosan.
With all the bets in the dealer asked for them all to turn over their cards.
“Full House of Kings and Jacks!!!” they all shouted while turning over their cards. They stared at each other blankly feeling something was wrong. Sanzora caught a glimpse of Ai’s king of hearts.
“You cheated!” she shouted and pointed at him.
Nichigosan also saw the king of hearts and joined in the shouting and pointing with Sanzora.
Ai was speechless.
“You’re disqualified” said the dealer. “And these two split the pot which means between them they now own your left testicle.”
Ai was speechless. He knew that something had gone wrong here. Sanzora had gone to find a pair of scissors. Ai used this opportunity to jump out the window and start running away. Nichigosan followed him quickly. When Sanzora returned the dealer told her what had happened and she ran out of the building to chase Ai.
The dealer picked up the money and put it in a backpack then walked over to the door and turned off the lights.
“Worked perfectly” said Yoruichi_Sama as she took off her disguise, shut the door and began walking home.

The 13 Divisions Activities Reports

The 1st Division Activity Report:1st Division: Keeping it short and sweet
But there's LOTS of us. <3
Everyone has school, work, assignments, tennis, LIFE.
But we are still family <333
Recently, our unwaken just returned! This past month, there have also been 2 birthdays: one to our great Debate Mod, Vampyrelord (9/16), and the other to our SUPER mod, SUPERMooL(9/20).
Officers/seats haven't been a big deal. I don't see any real and meaningful ranking in our division really, apart from asian and MooL who are indeed superior to the rest of us.
We are happy people.
Especially asian. Glomping people all the time.
But she's smexxy, so we all love her anyway.
Rokusaburo, Allicat and Captain Ben, our newest division members, are fitting in well. Of course, being hawt and all.
And Lunar and AphysvenA have been keeping the division safe for the return of the other members.

The 2nd Division Activity Report:Unfortunately, the 2nd div has been plagued with busy RL schedules recently. We have been trying to participate in contests as much as possible and have been doing a decent job of it. Hopefully, after RL has calmed down and members return, we'll be able to fully participate in contests and tie down our captain for a quick game of *insert perverted thought here*
To our sadness, Hinamori-chan (aka HC) had to retire as vice-captain. According to her, her brother is at fault and hopefully we can go over to her house sometime and kidnap her back. HC left behind a now sexually deprived captain, HitsyT. With HC's departure, Sakura no Hime was promoted to vice-captain and Naeko to 3rd seat. HitsyT will someday get around to naming more seated members. We hope.
The mood in the 2nd div threads is pretty laid back. When not posting about contests, members like to update the rest of the div on what they've been doing or why they haven't been on recently. Basically, a normal 2nd div thread would be: grumble here, grumble there, a couple of cookies tossed to keep the animals tamed. Recently, a new thread titled, Teh Raisin Bran Jar, was made to stop the members from spamming in the main thread ><

The 3rd Division Activity Report:The 3rd Division is one big happy family. The environment in our forum is very relaxing and everyone has a say in matters that involve the whole division. One reason for this is our captain and vice captain, Z-Blitz and Spike. They make sure to give all new members a warm welcome and to make everyone feel at home.
Z-Blitz, or Z for short, is the captain of the 3rd Division. He knows his anime stuff and is a great leader not only in our division, but also in the Gotei 13. He is currently trying to propose a mod switch idea that can be read up on in the contest discussion/ideas thread. He is a great guy and easy to talk to about anything. He doesn’t let his power get to his head, which can always be a bad thing for anyone on a forum to have enemies. I’m proud to be in the same division as him and to have him as my captain.
The most recent activity for the 3rd Division is an interdivision contest for a division user bar. A number of members made up different type of bars to put underneath our user title for each member. The division then voted which one they thought was the best, and we came up with the one we’re currently using, made by our very own shinipony, RevRuby. Using her own gin vector, she created a masterpiece that everyone in the 3rd division is proud to wear. You can see the bar below:

Currently, our division doesn’t have any major plans in the future. We are just aiming to fill our division with great, active members whenever we have a vacant spot to make us one of the strongest divisions in the Gotei 13. The 4th Division Activity Report:The 4th Division, led by nomadic_dragon-taichou and RedXMaverick, is full of friendly, inviting, and generous people. Most of the members joined the 4th Division because of what it stands for. The 4th Division is meant to heal and help others. As members of CB and the 4th Division, many of us have taken it upon ourselves to continue that the stereotype.

Why did I join the 4th division? Well, since my favourite Bleach character is Hanatarou, a 4th division death god, I also admired the 4th division, as they assist in helping their fellow members and other divisions in healing and aiding them. In reality, I also enjoy helping others who need help. We, in the 4th Division, work to help new members feel welcome. New members offer new ideas, talents, opinions, and growth to the Division. Upon entering the Division, the newest members have been pleasantly surprised by the number of BIG greetings they received. Some have voiced their feelings of openness and familiarity.

...and even though we are from different places, i see no gap between us.. it's like.. we've known each other for a long period of time.
The first thing i noticed abt this division is that this division is so friendly^^ i can nv 4get those BIG welcome posts when i came in XD
Aside from being considered the nicest Division in the Gotei 13, or so Sarteck so kindly labeled us, the Division houses a number of creative members. Within the 4th Division, there is a section, not unlike the "Creations and Finds" section found on CB. This section, called "Creation Central," is a place for 4th Division members to share artwork, poetry, prose, fanfiction, music, AMVs, and more with each other. Our wonderful 6th Seat, Kurai-chan, has offered us a summary of everything that goes on in "Creation Central."

Clubbleach isn’t only the one which has a section where the members could post poems, fanfictions, drawings, amvs, comics, and other original creations because 4th division also has something parallel to it and it’s called ‘Creation Central’. The main posters in this section are Savage Dragon, with his super cool AMV videos and award-winning comics featuring different personalities in CB(Undying, Sandal, etc.).
Rising Phoenix, the uniqe GM because of his amazing talent in writing poems.
Leixela, who could really give you a serious heartache because of the emotions that were portrayed in every line and stanza of her poems.
Enkou Kitsune, with his very creative zanpakutoh and edited pictures.
RedXMaverick, whom despite of his long break in drawing still managed to create amazing sketches.
And of course, last but not the least, Nomadic_dragon, our beloved Taichou who made Mariah Carey’s voice pale in comparison to her uber smeaxy and really magnificent voice in karaoke.
Probably our most active member, Savage Dragon is our talented 3rd seat. He works to bring the Division members closer together and keep us active. He is the creator of our Comics of the Month (which led to the comics found in the Newsletter each month) and is currently working on an AMV project in which each member is represented by some of their favorite pictures and videos from anime/games. He introduced this project as a means of showcasing the Division in a say that only the Bleach anime can. While still in the process of being made, here is a preview of a few of our members for the AMV:

Well what can I say as soon as I came to Club bleach I wanted to join a division. It wasn't an anime related choice or anything I just applyed to the first one I saw open and I never regretted it. Although I did start off as this division, um well how do I put this, not most liked member, but i leanred the rules and I've always loved this divisions openess and how both our captain and vc run this place. It's kind and everyone is always there to lend a hand. As for my skills I am this division AMV maker, still rather amaturish but i got some great projects im working on that will blow my old stuff away as well as the 4th division of CB own amv. I'm not great a gfx but I've been the comic artist for the newsletter for the past 3 issues as well as started the this moth in gotei 13 comic here in the 4th division. Hey it may be shoty work but people seem to like them. Nomad-taichou spends a lot of time working hard on getting members to be active and offering the Division members more than just a nifty user-title. She gave us the mini-contest. Much like the contests set up for the entire Gotei 13, these contests cause us to be creative, be informed, or be a loser. Some of these contests included creating our own Zanpakutou with both Shikai and Bankai. We were asked to write a short story starting with a specific phrase: "I didn't know it was made out of butter" Nomad-taichou used the contests to spur activity for the Division, asking us to create a "slogan" for the Division. Red offered a contest where we had to figure out the titles of anime off of Nomad-taichou's favorites list. This was more difficult than it seems because Red twisted the titles around to create puzzles out of them. Winners of the contests include several wins by Red-fuku-taichou and two wins by Enkou Kitsune, our wonderful 7th Seat.

The 5th Division Activity Report:Recently, in Club Bleach’s 5th Division, Pipp-ORK told us that she was getting ready to make her run for World Domination when C.B. Ambassador Potato piko’d by her campaign office and proposed a deal:
"He told me to drop out of the ELECTIONS!!! 1ONEONEONESHIFTONE!," Pipp-ORK tells us. "It was like a threat hidden under the guise of casual sex."
After the hour-long meeting last month, an ethnic random warlord said in an interview on Motuesday that he wasn't satisfied with the rewards offered for quitting(details remain unknown.) Pipp-ORK was still determined to run for World Domination- though.She made mention that the C.B ambassador wouldn't give up trying to “knock her on her ass”.
"He left, and then called the most loyal people, and the most educated people in my party or campaign, to the Zomg palace! He told them to make me - or ask me - to resign the nomination. And he told my followers to ask me what I need in return. Do you KNOW that WordPerfect automatically changes “T EH” to “THE”? Presumptuous bastard."
Pipp-ORK, who is running in the Oct. 23425 election, is one of several candidates who maintain that the C.B Ambassador and his aides are pushing behind the scenes to ensure a convincing victory by the pro-ClubBleach incumbent, World Leader- Gawd. The ClubBleachers deny doing so.
The 5th division hopes to prosper on several helpings of spaghetti and ice cream, with root beer (because root beer is pwnage deluxe and anyone who disagrees will be hung by their nipples and laughed at. Be warned!)

The 6th Division Activity Report:Recently activity in the 6th Division has spiked since summer with the arrival of five new members (itsovernow, Iro-Kun, Arrn-Car_Byakuya, Hattemaker, and rOyKiA), and the latest screenies competition has been the focus of our attention. Members have also been making tags to vote on for the division. We've been planning to get more active members to join, win/place in more contests, and continue to redefine smexy. Since more members have joined the 6th Division we plan to vote on the remaining seats, and maybe re-elect a new Vice Captain. As for the mood, everyone is happy and friendly without any fighting. Our captain AznChan is busy with life and as lazy as usual, but still hasn't let the 6th Division go to hell. The 7th Division Activity report:the 7th division is currently on a status called: "have fun," where the members can talk, joke, fight and scream (if they want) in the main division thread. Currently, there's a mini contest called: "Make a fanfic and i'll just grade how ur mind works" which is a simple contest where ur ideas goes into your OWN fanfic and the best creative one, wins a prize. Also, there are some few threads of our talkie talkie time, where we let the feelings let it go out like "i'm sad" and "who do u think...?" Some may think that this division is crazy, but crazy ... on what grade? crazy but funny, YES! Since the new taichou took the place of the ... before taichou (ROFL), the division has been really active lately and we all talk to each other. SO in other words.... That's eighth division to you. Down here, it's so stress-free, people envy us being for being so relaxed, so much so that it doesn't make sense. It probably doesn't. But what's important is that our taichou, Ryuuken, is always hard-working to keep the eighth division going strong and well known throughout the gotei 13.
After the Eighth Division noticed the change in the rep system, they got right to work in making the distinctive red Eighth Division markers that represented the division colour. (BTW, Thanks to Ka1s3r_X for the wonderful tags.) Also, since randomness runs in our division like wildfire, eighth division's VC stupidman007 has created a "randomising" thread where members can chill and unwind themselves after a particularly stressful (or boring) day.
On another note, there have been many additions to eighth division!! A warm welcome to Jimbozeubuen, ~*~Rukia~*~, Rukia-Sama, Kzimask, and chiking1!! Jimbozeubuen's a special case... he's not only in our division, he is the PURE essense of it on CB's IRC. You'll never see a post from him in the division, but if you listen close enough to the floorboards, you might just catch him whooshing by to join a heated conversation on hentai.
During the last few weeks of what seemed like a bombardment of contest before school starts, Eighth Division seemed to pwn in contest 24, thanks to Sandal Hat and VC's huge knowledge of anime, as well as Ryuuken, Ka1s3r_X, rockreaper, mercurius and Vlad, who filled in all the essential gaps to achieve first place!! Go eighth division!

9th Div, Like Sexy Only Better.
Nothing could describe it more accurately than our division description. Spawning from the introduction thread, down to our Ninth DivisionStarbucks Lounge – life in the 9th Division is like sex….only better.
Activity report? What can I say. We prepare for the CBNL, write the CBNL, post the CBNL, then start over again. It’s our circle of life. It’s our way of giving back to the Club Bleach community. Though we get a little lazy and prefer not to submit our articles at times, this changes quickly when yoruichi_sama Taichou pulls out the whip and teaches us the true meaning of internet pain. So far, in my own opinion, I think it’s worked out well…but maybe that’s only because I visit the Gotei psychiatrist on a regular basis.
On a serious note, moreover, as I’m sure all can recollect, earlier this year we’ve been forced to regret the loss of our initial Taichou: Sarteck. Likewise, earlier this month, due to outside forces governing her inactivity (I think it’s called real life), Sanzora Taichou took the liberty of stepping down as head over the Ninth Div and relinquished her title over to our former VC and now current leader. Not too shortly thereafter, Ai was promoted to lieutenant.
Other than that, and the fact that our division seems to be almost full, the 9th alternately consists of random posts ranging from:

The 10th Division Activity Report:
This is the 10th Division here, James The Phox representing. I don't really have permission from the 10th divison, but yoruichi_sama wanted me to send something really fast so here it is.
Our Division hasn't really done much recently. We've had a couple contests, getting a banner for us, and we've has some pictures thrown around in the division.
Not much we've done and not much we've planned. Of course our main goal right now is to get DragonBlade to reveal his face. This is our main goal. Any other goals shall be between the 10th Division and the 10th Division only.
We have no new officers. Currently the seats we've posted in the Division section are the seats we have now. Some members have come and gone, but the Division still flourishes.
The 10th Division is pretty lenient, we just hangout and chill. We have many spam-like threads to learn about things between each other. I myself have started a contest just for 10th division The Captain is awesome. Shizori, now called Serendipity, is tons of fun! Very active and loves to express herself. We call her our Bubbletea Taichou~ For obvious reasons. And there is more, but I keep forgetting. Taichou! The 10th Division <3s you!

The 11th Division Activity Report:The 11th division of the Gotei 13 is best known for their kick ass attitude - leaning more to the side of aggression, brutality and carnage, as well as its gung ho members who would be more than happy to polish their fighting skills. They are often depicted as feral, ruthless and callous, more like the yakuza of the Soul Society streets. But in the peaceful realm of CB, the 11th division is the anti-thesis of violence.
The current 11th division is headed by Thing-taichou and the second in command is our VC, Katen-chan. The ranks that soon follow are indicated by seat numbers, starting at number three after the vice-captain and so forth. In general, the members have been cooperative. When asked about what they thought of the division and comment about its general mood, collective responses is that there is definitely a fun mood, light, bubbly and friendly. Most are just cool and laid back, sometimes talkative but not to the point of spamming, or flaming. Because we all are aware of the fact that Thing eats people and bones, and we just like our bones where they are. In a more serious note, division member, Insaneshiyn, would like to describe it as “pretty much like an online family. We understand each other’s problems, know how to be sarcastic, and with who, and we can all share a laugh at a joke”.
When asked about what they thought about our captain, our VC would like to describe her as “the uber madwoman of light”. I would personally describe her as “woman Hitler” (omg! *dies*) and I think all of us agree with that, considering that out of the 13 members, only two are female and that already includes her But most importantly, comments like “..she’s a good leader, responsible, cool, active, speaks her mind, understanding”, some have even professed mad lub and expressed stalker intents to her, and the most significant comment of all “..she’s HAWT” would give you the idea of what a great captain she is. Thing encourages us to be more active and be more productive. Weekly, Thing holds intra-divisional graphics contests, much like the mini version of SOTW, as well as story contests, which we all suck at most of the time. We also pool together for brainstorming and such during inter-division contests.
Although as for now, our only plans are to pwn everything that moves in CB as well as take over the world, we figured we’d aim for something more attainable, like contributing and helping out in CB, recruiting more members, and setting our sights to improve our (the 11th division) status in the board as well as win more competitions. The 13th Division Activity Report:fooofles chan... well, she’s the craziest of us all, but who else could make it as a 12 year old captain? Plus there’s nothing but love for my little foofles! foofles is trying hard to get her gfx skills up, while being a mod and captain.
Well, I’ve been a member of Club Bleach for about 3 months now, and it is the sh*t, the best forums I’ve joined so far, even if I have to deal with sumpf trying to kick me all the time in IRC.
And… I SAY GOOD DAY! We just got 2nd place in contest 22. :D People are contributing to contests as much as possible while keeping their RL going you know, since RL takes priority :P even though it shouldn’t project
Our ranks? Pretty soon we'll get some inner div contests going on… basically its been kinda idle in our thread, but there’s a lot of activity in our div channel, where it normally ends up in madness!

Unholy: Well I never really watched much anime, but I loved making websites, and I was like "hmmm anime will do", after having like a bunch of 100 hits a day websites, I was like "omg this is a waste of time", then my friend is like "lets make a site on this new series bleach", I'd heard a lot of talk about it and was like "if this is gunna be the next naruto, im getting in on it", and of course being one of the first sites out the gate we were the first to get established and get a fan base which has helped us grow and grow since, People often find it strange that I don't really watch or enjoy Bleach all that much, I'm in it for the website more than the anime

Rabid_Woleverine: Well at first I thought whoa a forum on Bleach?! Pwnageness. So I joined. I found it through BP. I saw this tab called Club Bleach and thought it was a weird mini fansite for Bleach fans. I signed up and kind of lurked around for the first week or two then came the magic called v4. OH YES. It was there where I met such pwnage members like Hinamori-Chan, MARINE, Riggermantis, Shinomori, Pipp-ORK and a load more who have now left. I enjoyed the first few months of CB life very much. It kind of took over my life completely because it was so pwn, however, as time went on the pwnageness diminished slowly. I have to say that it's nowhere near as good now as it was back in the months of January - April. That's not to say CB doesn't pwn because it does but I don't think it'll ever become as pwn as it used to be.

CBNL:What does it feel like to be a Captain?
Byakuya:On the one hand, it is quite annoying - I have a reputation to uphold of being cold and merciless, and I also have to take care of all those sniveling fools. On the other hand, it is good for my popularity. My dating leve; has increased.
CBNL:How do you run your division?
Byakuya: strive for perfection... but ever since I got beat by that hoodloom, I decided to change it a bit. Now most of the division business is run by Renji and it goes quite well.

Forum Review:Warning and bans
Found in The Central Hall, This new forum was just recently added, It is what I like to call ClubBleach's court, where members can start a thread about an abuser (whose name should be the title of the thread being started). The thread should include a summary of what happened in the instanc of abuse, and a link to the post where the abuser broke the rules.
Obviously a thread should not be started every time a member witness a small rule being broken, and when I mean a small thing I mean something like a few spam posts, for instance. But serious offences can now be taken to the authorities in CB for review.
There is a sticky which everyone should read, entitled, 'The warning list'. It contains a list of people being warned and/or being banned. One should be informed that there are three courses of action depending on the number of offences and its severity. DragonBlade explains: For a first offence ,the abuser will face a warning. If he/she doesn't heed the warning and continues doing whatever he/she was warned against (eg. flaming), they will be temporarily banned. If it isn't a major offence then they’ll receive another warning. Lastly, a third offence (as DB states in one word) is his/her 'Doom'. Naturally people are given chances, so every month the admin will decrease the offence level by one.
Members who were temporarily banned can have someone appeal for them, but the person appealing for them should have sensible reasons and evidence (this is sounding like a real court \o/) so he/she can discuss the convict with the admins and mods.
This forum, is what Club Bleach needed to ensure organization of the forums, respect for the rules and most importantly, being fair to the members themselves. Be a decent member and abide by the rules of CB, and we can all enjoy our time here. But for those of you going out of your way to make a nuisance of yourselves, I feel sorry for you!

CBNL : So Nich, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Nichigo : Sure thing. My real name is Nick. Nick + Ichigo = Nichigo...hence my username. I'm 21.75 years old. I'm a full blooded 6'2" Filipino. I think that makes me the tallest Filipino in the world =D I'm currently a senior in college majoring in Electrical Engineering @ San Diego State University. I will be graduating in May of 2007 (woot!). I'm a fairly active guy. I like a lot of sports stuff...I play basketball, volleyball, soccer, ping-pong, and I love to watch Football. I also play and teach piano. I've played for about 15 years now, and teach beginning to intermediate level students. Of course I like messing with gfx...but you all know that ;-)
CBNL: How long have you been doing gfx, and things of that nature?
Nichigo : Been doing it for almost a year now.
CBNL: What made you want to start?
Nichigo: The GFX section here actually inspired me to make sigs. I loved what I saw the ppl here made, so I decided to get Photoshop and tried my hand at it. After making my first sig, I joined the Dreamscape Designs team. This is a now non-existent team that was started by Dragon Blade. All the old school peeps that were a part of that team helped me immensely
CBNL : Do you have a favorite brush, or 'most used brush'?
Nichigo : I only like using defaults. I don’t really "brush"...I usually just use brushes to smudge. So if I had a most used brush, I'd say it's the Spatter (not splatter) default brush with my own custom settings. I really like smudging with that.
CBNL: How many different sigs would you say you’ve made?
Nichigo : Compared to many others, I haven't made a lot. I'd say probably 200 since I started. You can check out my gallery and count for yourself =P

CBNL: Any advice or words of wisdom you would like to give people new to gfx?
Nichigo:Uh oh...u got me started...
• Don't use downloaded brushes. Stick to what PS gives you, and work with those.
• Not everything needs a border.
• Try to use more than one color. That's the main problem of most newcomers.
• Make sure the focus is appropriately on the render, and not on the effects in the background.
• Don't be afraid of C4D bashers. Use C4D's - they are tools like everything else. Just don't use them the whored way of "drag, drop, and set to color dodge".
• Don't be afraid to be original. Don't do stuff just cause everyone else is doing it. Come up with your own style and techniques.

Sae Sawanoguchi is the main focus of this series... An average high school student, she chooses to join the Magic Users Club as an after school activity. She is joined by her two friends and the President of the club (The only guy to practice magic and fly around on brooms, much to the ignorance of the wider world). The Magic Users Clubs aim? To destroy the Alien-Like Bell Vessel which floats above the ocean just outside of the city where normal weapons have failed to harm or even scratch it. So begins a journey of self-discovery for Sae as she tries to grasp her magic firmly and deal with the lack of magical will she needs to complete her magic activities.
This anime is rather a big laugh due to some of the hilarious things that happen in it. For instance the, club members: all four of them wear the same uniform which reminds you of a witch’s outfit except for a mini skirt... amazingly enough even the President wears this which makes for a comical sight!
Another instance would be where the president falls off a broom from about 50 meters up right onto a Metal cross bar in the school grounds. I watched this moment with about 40 other people and the moment he hit that bar all you heard was laughter all round followed by the guys crossing their legs. :p
Still not convinced? Here are some more points to look out for in this anime if you decide to watch it:
The Tiny club room which continually gets smaller as it's walls gets pushed in by the larger manga club right next door to it..
The Prima Dona Girl whom is more concerned with her appearance then her magic..
A rather huge Walking cherry blossom tree… Most odd... But a crucial plot device...

Ouran High School Host Club is an anime that has just recently developed this year in April. It is an anime full of comedy, drama, and romance. Being subbed by one of my favorite sub groups, Lunaranime, Ouran comprises of 26 episodes. As of now, 24-25 episodes have already been released.
Ouran High School Host Club is a story which takes place primarily at Ouran High School. The school is an exclusive institution reserved for students from wealthy families. One exception is Fujioka Haruhi, a scholarship student from a lower middle class family. She tends to dress up as the opposite sex, in simple slacks, a polo shirt and vest, mostly due to the fact that she cannot afford the school uniform itself.
One day, she searches through the campus for a quiet place to study, since all libraries and rooms were taken (each filled with loud students gossiping with each other). Her search takes her to the Third Music Room, where she stumbles upon the Host Club- a group of six attractive male students who spend their time entertaining ladies from the school for profit. Haruhi is shocked at their awkward behavior, and accidentally knocks over a vase that was to auction at the value of 8 million yen.
The host club, mistaking Haruhi as a male student, employs Haruhi as the club’s ‘dog’. Haruhi is forced to do various things like chores and serving the host club as a way to pay back the 8 million yen vase.
Eventually, Haruhi gets promoted to be a host of the club as a way to pay off her debt. Slowly, one by one, the host club members discover that Haruhi is a female, but due to the fact that she is already accepted by the Host Club’s customers (not to mention is quite a hit with the ladies) Haruhi is forced to stay until she has a total of 1000 loyal customers. Only then will her debt be considered paid.

Critique:
Ouran High School Host Club is the very definition of parody, and an absolutely masterful one at that. Instead of countless animes where characters are blatantly straight and act gay for no reason at all, this one provides quite a legitimate reason: profit. The premise is simple and the execution of a somewhat questionable plot is carried out perfectly, and endless comedy ensues.
Charming, lively, silly, yet with an underlying seriousness and depth fills the storyline. Characters that can use their semi-cliché personalities as their own, while characters who don’t need to reinforce a certain trait and stereotype can express themselves "out of character" naturally as themselves, making them unique.
Production wise, this anime is top notch. This anime is not a mere copy of the manga. Rather, the staff seem to have placed a lot of time, effort, and love into this work to make this anime come to life as its own being. If not, Ouran High School Host Club’s flawless animation, perfect voice act and perfect music will not have been achieved.
Overall, this anime is a MUST watch. The comedy, drama and romance that fills this wonderful anime is unmatched.
Ratings: Storyline, Graphics, Sound & Enjoyment- 10/10

GFX teams

Club Bleach has a great Digital Graphics section where you can learn things, request, battle and make teams. Some of you may recall a while back there where 2 major teams in particular: Elemental Designs and Dreamscape Designs. The current teams now though are:
Creative Visions – choc full of great designers, all with there own style, their valiant leader is Nichigosan. What inspired him to pull together this successful group is his love for GFX and his desire to help GFX artists in CB to improve more, along with a desire to assist other members in their GFX requests.
One Designs: Here is a team of friends which help each other out to improve. The founder being maximoose666 this team came into being after the two older massive teams (Elemental Designs and Dreamscape Designs) were disbanded. Theirs is a very successful team that won against CV a while ago. The results were very close from what I understand.
The results just go to prove how talented these two teams are. I would like to add that CV and [ONE] are the most successful teams in CB at this moment in the CB timeline.
Arcane Designs : They’re a friendly and encouraging bunch. Here it’s about making friends and helping. This team is lead by Tatsumaru Ishida , who wanted to make a team in the spirit of Dreamscape. It is still a fairly new team, but everyone clearly has a lot of potential!
Project [SE7EN] : This team that focuses on improving themselves as well as helping others out. They are currently leaderless because as tsyc (member of the project) explains: "In terms of our leaders, we have none. We make all major decisions through a democratic vote, meaning that we're all equal.” Although the user named frbbls had started P7, over time P7 reached its full 10 member quota. Unfortunately, half the members didn't even post in the P7 thread anymore. So itsovernow, moatilliatta, I Hate You, unwaken, and tsyc decided to remake P7 with a new set of rules and kicked out all the old, inactive members.
CB Artist : CB Artist Guild Isn't a real GFX team, they’re more about traditional art. They post there drawings and get C&C, It's also about having a friendly chat and helping each other out with their drawing style. They like to put up assignments from time to time, like draw your hand or something else. Phoenix Inx ‘’Rising from the Ashes comes a new team: Phoenix Inx" Their mighty leader is Thing. I will leave you enjoy what she told me: “The graphics team is kinda dead, everyone is leaving for different teams, but then, since I run the 11th Division, I really do try to keep track of both of them. I think I'm neglecting PI, and I've started doing the same thing with the 11th. I REALLY am trying to get back to them, update what I need to, and keep more on top of it. We (I think) would LOVE to do requests, BUT, so far, no one has requested anything. I mean, who needs us when they have One Designs or Creative Visions to take their requests and do more then likely, a better job then we could do? (I'm mostly referring to myself, so any members of PI that are reading this, please don't be offended!)
A graphics team with inactive members OBVIOUSLY doesn't participate in contests.
Thanks for the wishes of luck, we really need them. Maybe this story'll draw people back to it and have them be more active.

Influx : The focus for this team is to help people new to GFX, and they have unlimited entry. -Shuyin- was the mastermind behind the opening if this supportive initiative. The way this team works is that the experienced graphic artists act as tutors. The members turn in their work, the tutors criticize and give real critique, they don't just say "Oh, that's cute" but laugh under their breath. Tutorials, psds, etc are readily offered, andt seems to be quite efficient. Members just hope to keep it active.

The National Sig League: vCB

Recently, we’ve been privileged to witness the ongoing changes here on our daily addiction: Clubbleach. A few of these alterations may be greatly appreciated by the vast majority of our community, whereas others, maybe not so much. Some may say, “Thumbs up to the new skins!” While the fan's of the old default skin, well, they just might flat-out disagree. Though the latter’s voice may be less heard – and less influential than its counterpart – the changes are occurring nonetheless. All I know (as a conscripted reporter of the Ninth Division) is that it is my duty to critique.
One day, I and a good friend of mine were conversing over Google Talk. Most here may know him as the Avanced Class Crew Member Nichigosan. Often, as I browse about through my daily morsel of CB, I bring up topics in my online conversations of which might make for good discussion. This particular time it was the ever-so-prevalent growth of the GFX section.
“Wow,” I commented, “Since when did CB turn into the NSL?” When I first learned of the NSL, or National Sig League, I took the opportunity to exploit the fact of it’s shared, but differently ordered, acronym of SNL (<-----Saturday Night Live for the late night comedy noobs).
Nichigo replied, “Clubbleach is the NSL dude.”**
We both resolved to a series of “lol’s” and “XD’s” after this comment.
Though I addressed this matter in a joking fashion, as the conversation progressed (until finally the day came to a close), the truth in the statement I made seemed far more realistic then I initially fathomed. Half of the ClubBleach forum is turning into an extension of the National Sig League GFX site. But do we, the members of CB – and I’m referring to the vast majority – want this?
With the new administration of ‘classes’ and ‘class crews’ – does this section add to the ‘bleach’ in our ‘Club?’ Or, is it just another section that you close off because it’s extra space on your webpage? I personally have closed off a few sections I know I never check, but will I be doing this to the gfx soon enough, as well?
After deep consideration, I concluded… No, and neither will you. Why, you ask? Simple, because this art, this collaboration, this competition, effort, skill or lack of skill, and down-right REALLY COOL STUFF – it’s all entertaining to both the sig and non-sig maker alike.
It’s intriguing to see the latest ‘sig battle,’ draw a conclusion, then await to see who the winner will be in the end. It’s fascinating to recognize the render used in a tag, sit there consumed by all the pretty colors that surround it, and then differentiate who the good GFX’ers are from the… not so good ones. It’s captivating… to pull up posted tutorial, glance at the starting product, scroll down through a list of instructions, then observe the transition from nothing, to literally a beautifully concocted something, all of which having no clue how any of it was done. This, my friends, this is why we won’t ever get tired of the GFX section. We won’t care if the section attains the title and emblem of the NSL itself and will not bother complaining to any of the Admins that the GFX section is bigger than bleachportal itself.
This is why we won’t care if the GFX section turns into The National Sig League Version CB.
Simply Put: Just Because It’s Cool.

17 October… It’s coming soon… and why is that an important day for Bleach Portal? Let’s take a look in the history books, back to 17 October 2004 when Bleach Portal was initiated immediately recognized as a website with a lot of potential, therefore its success wasn't a surprise!
For their first anniversary, Bleach portal celebrated through the release of BP Version 3, with a brand new layout. They also had a BP Yearbook, where BP people submitted small pictures of themselves to be forever branded as comrades-in-arms in the true spirit of Bleach. To check it out, here is the link:

Since the special day is nearing, it means the second anniversary is just about upon us. If I were to guess, BP will celebrate it with anew layout yet again, possiably version 5. I felt i needed to say something since i got dragged through it once again..and somehow ended up the VC...well..three things...
1. If your a gotei thirteen member...we welcome your articles and would love ot see them in the coming newsleters..

2. Please coperate with us if we ask you for something for the coming newsleters..We are the 9th div...We're bigger then the Tax department.....Don't mess with us...See our div description for more info..
and
3. Even though you don't recognise it...At the bottom of each article/thing is the name of the person that wrote it as well they are at the bottom in the staff list..These people have done a fantastic job and donated alot of their time and effort into this newsleter ..the 9th div members each have to contribute at least one article if your in the div...as well as Sanz and Sarah for keeping it all together and for making it possible and probably for making the next few NL's possible..anyway...all these people have done a fantastic job so i would be the first to say..Rep them....We have the system up now.. Even though they went into the thing not expecting it I want to reward them our div members as much as i can and the other gotei members that contributed. So if you could simply rep a person whos placed an article in the newsleter and place the reason as
NL article -"Name"
Then i would be forever in your debt. I'm pretty sure DB won't fault me for asking for the community's support in the staff that run this worthy endevour...
