Its a scavenger hunt. Here are what I've been capable of figuring out so far =).

Hint # 1: Within DragonBlade lies a secret: Check his usergroups. It says a sticky in the Porn Stash (The Lounge was called the Porn Stash).

Hint #2: Sticky in the porn stash: MOTM #4. There is a binary code in DragonBlade's post.

Hint #3: Binary code: That translates to 3434 in real numbers. As per user ID, Civilian is the person with an ID of 3434.

Hint #4: Civilian's Avatar: Civilian's avatar has the numbers 4614 in it, which is Sandal Hat's ID.

Hint #5: Bin of Doom: Sandal Hat has a picture of a recycle bin named Bin of Doom. This clue tells us to search the recycle bin forum. Recycle Bin: DB edited a post in the recycle bin by Seto. It reads "A Special Failing Member Robbed This Title"

Hint #6: Premium Account: Special failing member. I.e. the member who has special privileges yet has failed to realize it because he chose not to be active on the forum. That member is gero60032. I.e. the 20000th member.

Hint #7: He who wants no gifts: The 2000 member had a premium account which read "The statement of the person who wants no gifts". This person is Civilian.

Hint #8: Pretty in Pink Civilian has a post in the gifts section where he says he doesn't want any gifts, but it is also edited to say "Pretty in Pink Interests All".Mr.T's Mohawk: Its got the letters "IRC" on it. A hint on the forum states that our next clue is not on the forum and based on what we have its implied that we visit the IRC channel.

Hint #9: IRC, channels that DB is currently in. ERGH is one of those :).

Hint #10: Topic of the ERGH channel has the "I", "T" and "N" letters capitalized. Collectively they form the word TIN. That is the final puzzle :).

I tried looking through Civilian's posts and usernotes but I found nothing clear to me. Perhaps there's more to it...

Anyway, any progress should be posted here please :).

I FOUND IT!
CIV'S AVATAR IS CLUE #3. 4614 is Sandal Hat's ID ;).

Sandal's ID shows a picture of DragonBlade's recycle bin. He's the only one I know who'd call his recycle bin "Bin of Doom" :P.

DB's screenshot of his "Bin of Doom" has been located. All I could figure out of it was the post # which is 917.

Wow Z you're speeding through this :/ I was stuck on the Washinton business. As for the screenshot, perhaps the highlighted song number, 4262, is important? I thought it may be related to a user but couldnt work out how to find users by i.d :P

Hmmm....I don't know if I can be of help..since I think the same way you do Z. I also was thinking about the bin of doom being a clue..but if its not. *shrugs* I can't really pick up any sort of a clue...

EDIT: It says in Sandal's profile something sticky in the porn stash..so I guess that means we have to go back to the lounge.

EDIT 2: Ignore that, apparantly he was just toying with us. It's no longer there.

Yes he did and his signature was the next clue. "The statement of the person who wants no gifts". That person is Civ. I found his post in the gifts section. Which later on said this "Pretty in Pink interests all". Pretty in Pink is a skin Civ made, I tried browsing the skin for clues, but I couldn't. Then I looked for the thread that James the Phox created that had the title "Pretty in Pink" which is basically a critique thread on the skin itself. Civilian edited the first post, but it wasn't anytime recent. It was edited on the 19th of September. I guess we can assume that they started working on the contest a long time ago. Anywho, there was no clue in that post, I'll try looking for some more.

hey, i found that the 20000 member post was also edited about that time by civ, and i remember that when merc posted it didn't mention the name and somehow that name appear out of nowhere.

Pretty in Pink has Mr.T as its mascot on the top banner thingy. There is a member in our forum that has the name "Mr.T". I located his profile but I found nothing of interest =/.

As to the first way, I looked through the moderator logs of that thread and realized that Civ did nothing suspicious. He just edited the post and the poll. Nothing more nothing less :). There might be a hidden message somewhere though, but I doubt it considering that the editing process was carried out on the 19th this month, i.e. 9 days before DB actually edited most of this contest's posts.

taichou, hotaru thought i should ask if there's a central 46 thread, since Mr.T is a central 46, and whats the diff between the cent.46 bar and the admin bar?

i somehow doubt there's a clue though, its a bit far...

Hmm... Well there IS a central 46 area on the forum, but no one has access to it other than admins and s-mods. Mr.T here happens to be one of the few C46 members. The reason behind that is because Civilian is the one who created that account after someone created an account and called it Chuck Norris.

ERGH, and Mr.T are the only 2 C46 members I know that are not mods/admins. ERGH is DB's second account and Mr.T is Civilian's. I doubt that would lead us somewhere.

I'm too busy trying to find a relationship between the whole Bin of Doom thing and the premium account guy. I feel like there's a missing link there somewhere. Of course moving forward is my top priority, but as is the case right now I can't do much =/.

This is probably going back in clues, but has anyone else noticed if you view the usergroups section (in ur CP) with the pink skin on, group 14 text reads another "something sticky in the pron section" thing. With the standard white skin you only see it by highlighting...:lol

It was a mistake...was supposed to be contest #1, not scavenger hunt #1. Contest #1 was the guess how many mp3s DB has.

Also, did anyone notice if you check out Mr. T's sig in the pretty in pink skin you can see it say "I look pretty in pink" underneath it. You gotta highlight it in the other skins. I'm not sure if thats part of the contest or if that could be a clue. Just throwing it out there.

Alright... DB typed down a wrong clue. Its contest #1 and not scavenger hunt #1. Contest #1 involved the usage of a zoom graphics program to read the number of music tracks that DB has on his PC. That number was written on his avatar which was cleverly hidden btw. I looked at Mr.T's profile to realize that his C46 tag is the tag that fits the description in the hints. Its a transparency, and its got some text written on top of it in white. However its VERY hard to read it when you zoom in and even harder to read it without doing so. I tried to zoom into the signature and avatar of Mr.T to realize that his avatar has nothing in it. However his signature has something written on the bottom. The only two letters I could figure out from that picture were P and K. Other than that its really hard to tell apart the letters after you zoom in =/. Anyone else think they could give it a shot?

EDIT: The signature has a link to a website. I highly doubt that has to do with our contest. So I guess it IS in fact related to the C46 tag as I mentioned earlier :).

*rubs them* God, that is painful trying to figure out whats written there. However, I think there are two words, one where the clubbleach.net is located, and one where the c46 is located. I can't make out a think for the club bleach one...but the c46 I think appears to end with an o. *looks again* maybe a -tuo? Not sure about the t u, but that is what it looks like to me.

EDIT: Wait...is it just me, or does it look like Kurosaki Ichigo a bit is written there? I may be tired so my eyes may not be 100% (I also wear glasses..eh) but it kinda resembles it if you look at it and put the words in.

You are the only 3rd division member I know that is capable of accessing IRC. Hotaru, Static and I are the only others who can too, but Static is away and both Hotaru and I have limited internet access on campus making us uncapable of accessing it.

Here's what you need to do:

Talk to DB in private and tell him that you'd want the clue for puzzle #9. If he says that you'll have to find it on your own then I suppose it'll be somewhere in the topic or something :).

Think you could copy the IRC channel's topic here Spike? Just double click on the empty space and copy whats on the tool bar above.

Oh and try right clicking on DB's username on IRC and copying his user info. You could find something of interest :).

I'll frantically try to access IRC using one of the slickest tricks, but that might result in a temporary ban of my internet on campus. That is IF it works. I highly doubt it would though =/.

I have completed this contest on my own and sent to DragonBlade the results. We ended up 4th or 5th according to what he said :). Not bad if I say so myself.

To everyone who worked hard on this contest, I commend you. This contest would've caused me a nervous breakdown if I worked on it alone. Thank you all... +rep to everyone :).
