Final Fantasy VII For The PSP

A friend of mine sent me an email which contained these pictures, which you should see before we move on:

The pictures appear to be of a battle scene and of Wall Market.

What he had to say was that it could do with the following statement, from ACNet:

"The latest issue of Dengeki Playstation features an interview with Yoshinori Kitase, director of FFVII and FFVII Tech Demo.
The interview is about a Final Fantasy for PS3, but in response to speculation about it being FFXIII, Kitase gave out a hint that the FFVII tech demo was supervised by him aswell and that the development of the FF for PS3 or another platform is happening via a similar process..."


Because of this, I am lead to believe that the secrect title that is under development is actually a PSP remake of FFVII! Would'nt that be awesome? All that I can think is that the Tech Demo could be the quality of the cut scenes for the PSP version. Although I do hope that there will be a PS3 version available at some point, I still would love a PSP version as well.

Ummmm... isn't this old news? I though everyone knew that FFVII was coming out for the PSP. According to rumer, they are supposed to release Advent Children for the PSP with it...

Sounds good, although I think they're maiking either final fantasy 12 or 13 for PS3.

No, FFXII is coming out for PS2 in either September, November, or January.

FFXIII was announced to be in production for the PS3.

Aaaaahhhh, I see. I wonder what will happen in FF12 though? All I know are what the characters look like... I haven't found any site that had the actual story line though... Wait, has it even been released in Japan yet?

Those pictures are fake first of all they're taken on Someones carpet. second of all the could either be photoshoped or due to the PSP's ability to play movies that could just be playing out from the memory stick. Stop posting fakes.

i kno those pics r fake but i wldnt be surprised if sum emu freak haxes the psp to play psx games off a memory stick....witin hours of the psp release [US...w00t!] sum1 haxed the web browser.......so its not impossible.....especially since sum mem stiks can hold 1gb and the psp shows that its got gr8r power than the psx...

it could be from screenies from ps3? i dunno becuase i saw a trailer from gamespot talking about ff7 for ps3

umm the remake is coming out for ps3, try going to ign.com and they have it there for ps3. and did you look at the trailer ps2 or psp can't handle those grahpics. i rather them both come out for ps3 because then you can expect the graphics to be better than the ps2 xbox and xbox 360. because of course ps3 does have the better graphics. umm well i guess it would be cool if psp got one too. but i don't care about psp, its all about ps3
