okay, so everyone knows that chinese have the death sentence and that they execute the criminal rather swiftly and in an economically friendly way, while it involves no torture such as the beheadings that take place in iraq. this is actually quite contraversial as alot of people like it, while others condem the death sentence.

but now that the background is done with, the chinese have been harvesting the organs from the ones who are executed(they actually get them to sign an organ donation form, but its more like forced to sign). which imo, is an excellent method as it gives a chance to save lives and plus, it sorta gives the criminal a chance to redeem himself, in a way. and considering how the current system where its fairly hard to get a organ transplant, with a long waiting list and plus, the fact that it costs alot of money to pay for an organ transplant AND since alot of people sign up for organ donations after their death, should this method be implemented in countries which capital punishment is allowed?

the cloning is do-able at the moment but wont be available to public for prob another decade or two. and take note that 88 countries around the world baned captial punishment, and cloning wont be publically available for about another decade or two.

Well, that would never work in the USA. it would be a HUGE violation of privacy. However, ethics aside... it seems like it would be a good idea.
i wonder, how many people die via capital punishment each year?

In China? Almost every crime must be punished by death, lol! Of course they're just gona tighten their "security" and find more "criminals" to blame, kill, and get more money from it. Now there's a country in which I hope to never end up in my life.

HOW? How can you keep something private if you are dead?

I think the organ harvesting idea is good because, out of the whole population that would actually donate, a little bit of them actually do. So if you are waiting for organs but there are none available because people have not donated you would die. Also if you could survive because the organs you need can be brought from a dead guy, which they usually do when someone dies if they allow it, you would take it.

Not everybody wants their organs to be taken.

Even if the dead person had not made their standings clear before their death, the issue would fall with their loved ones. Many people are uncomfortable with thinking of someone they love being "under the knife". If they are dead, it would sort be be like losing someone more than you already have.

Beit, the time for making the decision is short and often impulsive, overemotional decisions are made.

What we do with our bodies should be our choice, even if taking away our choice would better the community, it would take away the freedom that America has to offer the world.
