I remember in 3rd grade there was this 1st grader that wanted to go out with me. Really annoying and had a tiny piece of his hair in an attempted ponytail because for some reason little boys thought that was cool back then xD My friend kept giving him WTF looks and running away from him... Tallness worked out really well for me in elementary school up till 5th grade (when I moved to the evil place of hellish doom >.<) Even still now, all the little kids really look up to me and they would be there for me no matter what, I had really good friends back then.

First, what is the point of getting into a relationship in highschool and under other than to gain experience for later years when actualty thinking about marrying someone?

Second, Why do you waste the money, time and drama with these types of relationships that last for only a year or under? Did you truly even "love" them from the start or was it just a physical attraction?

Third, this girl i know and am aquantances with, since the 6th grade, Every year has changed to a new boyfriend....How can you even call that a relationship? If they were bound to break up Why even get into the relationship in the first place? And She always said how much she loved each boy everyyear. Yet I did not understand how she could keep saying this.

Fourth, MOST!!!!(please understand most does not mean all, there are some cases where a coupel stays together thru all of highschool into college and eventually get married) but most relationships do not last out of highschool. And if they do, There is a greater probability that each person of said relationship goes to a diff college and results in a break up. And if they hapen to stay together thru college and get married under 25 the statistics say that there is a 50% chance of divorce leaving the couple back where they began as singles and depressed or what ever.

In conclusion, people dating under the age of 18 saying they've been in a relationship in my opinon is not true. Because the very fact that people switch from person to person disregaurding if they actualy truly loved said other person is hard to comprehend when they stay together for such little time. You can classify someone as a Bf or GF if you want, BUT did you truly love that person, Where you truly willing to spend the rest of your life with that person?

And this is where i conclude:
I believe from what i have just stated above, that it is in my own opinon a waste of time, money, drama, and you lying to yourself to actualy have a "relationship" under the age of 18. which is partialy the reason why i have never asked a girl out, but yes i am a little shy but truthfuly i dont understand why have a relationship at such a young age.

One of the biggest points I'm telling friends who are single now, stay single.

If you find someone during HS, it'll eventually crumble since they'll want to pursue their own career path.

Relationships at an early age are actualy an important part of development through your youth you go out with many different girls(or boys)and from those people you have dated you find qualitys that you like and dislike. You do not keep a list in on your mind at the time but you remember these qualitys and then when in the future you are looking for your love of your life this person normally incumpisis the good qualitys that you have grown to like as you have grown up.So if you never had relationships when you were young then when you are older you have to go through the trail method trying to find the qualitys you like so by having relationships at a young age help you to pick a lover before you are to old.
If you have not had relationships as you have grown up when you are out of school and looking for a partener you often lack the emotional maturity gained from having relationships at a young age so if you have not gone through this periode of "learning" so to say ,the people you try to engage with later on in life will find you not mature enough for the type of relationship they might be looking for(you see at a young age when dating you do not do it for love but when you are older when you enter into a relationship you are looking for your future partener)and you will not be able to cope with the intenceness of the relationship.
At a young age I do agree that you do not have relationships because of love but you do for the reasons above(the whole cycle is brought on by puberty)but you do have the relationships as a way of "cooling off".The interaction between 2 people that are physicaly atracted to one another (which is what you base your relationships on at a young age)helps to take your mind off things like school and lets you have a good time and helps you to subdue the "needs" felt when you are a teenager.So relationships at a young age help you to mature so that you are ready for life as an adult
