THAT is not acceptible....BAD BAD

and one worded posts are spam...so is double and triple posting....face posts like:

I think its okay to spam sometimes :)
I find the way this board and its members are is really great.
We are all so accepting, not pickey and are not afraid to talk about whatever.
This is a place you can really just lay back ,hang out and enjoy yourself. :)

Spammings okay... sometimes.. I mean it gets annoying reading through replies when like your trying to find something, and people just keep posting random and unneccessary things. The ones that are really annoying though are the people that post one word answers just so their number of posts go up.

Spam has its limits...I always don't see any other point of spam other then just to take up time... I mean, If you really where into the topic at hand you wouldn't just spam outta no where...and maybe cause a great topic to snow ball into a bunch of useless spam...but also spam has its good points...I sometimes like to see a little hint of spam as a form of comic relief.

What we do is spam, but like what park said (i think twas him) doing it in moderation is okay.
And i think we do just that. we don't abuse our privilages too much. And as Tammy stated, we have our convo thread which is holding strong. So we're encouraged to spam and enjoy the forums in a sense. But if someone were to spam where it's not really welcome, say in the entire debates forum, then that's bad spam and that person should be warned.

But like hardcore spam is annoying. =\ Like random people posting in several threads in a small amount of time saying "sadkjhhjdjhdsalj" and posting several times in a row...

Spam is generally ok to its limits, thats why there are many palces here to talk about stuff otehr than anime to stop threads about general stuff popping up, threads taht are off topic are not really spam just not in the right place, double posting when not needed or posting 1 word/smilies posts or posts which make no sence, are spam.

as i'm going along the forums, i'm seeing some no0bs just making posts like 'lol!!!!'
that kinda spam is annoying,
It's up to us to tell em' bout it and hopefully they won't make posts like that again.
and one more thing i've seen, in a specified thread, like 'word association' or 'this and that' i've seen where ppl don't do what is specified and just make useless posts while commenting on something previous, if they things like that, at least do what was specified and don't make ur post useless....

If you are talking about Spamming on websites (like shoutboxes) or forums then personaly i have 1 policy, BAN (i got enough experiance and trouble with spammers)

If we are talking about Email Spam, then i think it's anoying but it's just something i believe comes and goes, like hoaxes, tough for the time being we are stuck with it.

u can 'spam' and have fun in off topic where it's permitted. But ppl don't realise it's a forum and not instant messaging and they give one word answers and that type is annoying...

Well I think we all agree to a point...Spam is cool, as long as its in small amounts...I guess you could look at lt like a poison that the forum takes in little portions...but to much poison will kill the forum strait out...So we should try to keep our hang out as heathy as we can...I guess...damn, kinda cheesy...but none the less! nah you missed it at another bleach forum someone I know posted 100 times in a row and never got modded :LOL: :p: most of the posts were 86 it was funny as hell and the mods did nothing :eek13: that was the last time I visted that forum :face82:

this is more of a club, then a forum. im not certain of the exact definition of forum, but its existance serves a purpose other than entertainment. usually forums provide usefull information

There are different kinds of spam. I don't mind "why is the sky blue" type spam so much. Some of that is actually quite funny.

What I do mind is people who spam porn websites and write overly long messages advertising a product clearly innapropriate for the forum. If somebody created a new thread named "Have ED ? Get a free 30 day trial at blah", thats spam in the worst way. They should be banned.
