thanks for the summary nice one.
that chapter was dissapointing as the built this whole thing up and now ended it in such a lame way with akatsuki just leaving. also they are onl sealing the sanbi i.e. 3 tails which we already know they have captured. hopefully though we will be able to see what they need them for.
looks like the pace is starting to pick up again.

interesting so maybe asuma might not die which if wish he doesnt becuz ive come to like him, but atleast now akatsuki knows that one mistake will cost them there lifes
Mhm....well, at least the fight seems to be over. Maybe now we can focus on other things:)
But if Asuma survives, that will be some hardcore shounen^^
I thought it was boring. Hoping that a main good guy will die is just to much to ask

p.s: this manga started to bore me with non-dying people cast, wonder when they will kill off a Leaf-nin, (Hayate was an exception, they had to kill him cuz' he was uber-cool to be a ninja.)

I'm liking the flow of the manga. It's going good, has a modest amount of content (enough to keep interest) and the mystery is still strong.
Though I do agree, that this chapter could have been more eventful. Maybe a page or two of focus on Naruto's progress?
I want to see more Itachi, to be frank.
Hopefully the new Sasuke and him have a face-off, so Sasuke can feel absolutely ashamed of how little a difference, his progress has made.

What the hell, why won't anyone fricken die. Just please let Asuma die!!!!! I mean it would add some fricken drama to the series. I mean no one EVER FRICKEN DIE in the series except the Hokage, but he was about to die of old age anyways.

If you compare it to Bleach, Naruto is a bloodbath.

True...but look at it this way. Sandaime recieved a sword trough the chest and died. Renji was cut to pieces and had his ass owned by pretty much everyone in Bleach and he's alive and kicking:P
The only thing that truly bothers me about Bleach is that _no_one_ dies.
Chuyi and Sakura fought Sasori who took down a country and killed the most powerfull Kazekage that ever lived. They KILLED him and Chuyi was fataly wounded and died. They haven't shown him the error of his ways, they didn't just wounded him and left him for dead just to be saved later on, they didn't get 45356423234341243 wounds and then just continued on like if nothing has happend.
Aizen cut down 5 people in 2 episodes and not a single one of them died.
Hayate found out about the invasion, he was hunted down and killed.
If that was Bleach he would prolly:
1) Be captured and then saved later on
2) Would be wounded and in a coma...and he would wake up after everything was over. Then he would go: ZOMGZ OMFG SORRY EVERYONE
3) He would be brainwashed by Bakis genjitsu
4) Insert random _he is alive_ situation

kurenai seems rather concerned about asuma. interesting that there was nothing between those two before the time-skip. maybe azuma will die after he reveal some sort of secrets.

i agree with everything u've said then. and that Aizen part, maybe he didn't intend to kill them...? tho that's kinda pushing it...
k, i'll admit he intented to kill Hitsugaya, but he had the ice protection around him and he prob only survived because he's the "wonder kid" ie/ massive reiatsu etc.
renji got slashed on the same shoulder twice and it still didn't fall off. The first time Aizen was trying to avoid cutting rukia, and the second...well maybe he just cbf and renji was in the way XD. he tried to cut ichigo in half and failed. tho he even failed at the way he took out Komamaru. maybe he was kinda weak / sh!t at that point, which is y so many ppl survived.
but i agree - bleach really needs to let someone die

What about Hinamori? Katana in the gut, point blank range...nothing. Also, while Aizen was happily swinging Kyoka Sigetsu he kept making up those lame excuses like "OMGZ0R, too shallow" or "UUUPS, only 3rd of it's power" or "huh? what? you are still alive? oh well" "killer her Gin. OMGZ0R,I'm like, the fastes and single most powerfull thing in Bleach but I really didn't see a half dead one mile per day moving Byakuya...but oh well" "Uuuu, you doged that quite well"

But yea, someones gonna die soon in Naruto...or at least before they are done with Akatsuki. Personaly, I see Jirayja dying before the manga ends. We will prolly seem him in an all out figh (finally!) and then he will die heroicly to save Naruto or something like that. Or maybe Tsunade, but I hope the author will spare at least one Hokage seeing how her predecessors all died in battle.
Dunno about the rest, I'm only sure about the Jirayja part.
