tell me what you think about it?
esp. the voice suitability
I think Rukias voice roxx
the dub is much better and funnier than the f***ing English dub.
Go to China :Domo
since Chinese is compact in nature, the characters actually said much mmore things than in English dub. That means if you watch English dub, poor thing you missed like 50% of things spoken in Chinese dub.

Nice I like it. Agreed, way better than the english dub.
However, the Chinese-dubbed Bleach would only limit itself inside Chinese speaking countries since Chinese isnt really a common language.

Chinese is the most spoken language in the world. not English. about 1/4 of world population speaks or understand Chinese. I wont be surprise if most Bleach watchers are Chinese speakers :Domo
yeah.... American dub suxx..... Boo !

Um...I'll have to "wtf" that statement. What evidence, proof, or surveys do you have that prove that Chinese is the most spoken language in the whole WORLD. I find that very hard to believe...

I wont blame you for not knowing the statistic and I understand it is hard to believe it in this English language dominating world.
I shall show you some figures
The Summer Institute for Linguistics (SIL) Ethnologue Survey (1999) lists the following as the top languages by population:
(number of native speakers in parentheses)
1. Chinese* (937,132,000)
2. Spanish (332,000,000)
3. English (322,000,000)
4. Bengali (189,000,000)
5. Hindi/Urdu (182,000,000)
6. Arabic* (174,950,000)
7. Portuguese (170,000,000)
8. Russian (170,000,000)
9. Japanese (125,000,000)
10. German (98,000,000)
11. French* (79,572,000)
* The totals given for Chinese, Arabic, and French include more than one SIL variety. See chart for full details.
The following list is from Dr. Bernard Comrie’s article for the Encarta Encyclopedia (1998):
(number of native speakers in parentheses)
1. Mandarin Chinese (836 million)
2. Hindi (333 million)
3. Spanish (332 million)
4. English (322 million)
5. Bengali (189 million)
6. Arabic (186 million)
7. Russian (170 million)
8. Portuguese (170 million)
9. Japanese (125 million)
10. German (98 million)
11. French (72 million)
The following list is from George Weber’s article “Top Languages: The World’s 10 Most Influential Languages” in Language Today (Vol. 2, Dec 1997):
(number of native speakers in parentheses)
1. Mandarin Chinese (1.1 billion)
2. English (330 million)
3. Spanish (300 million)
4. Hindi/Urdu (250 million)
5. Arabic (200 million)
6. Bengali (185 million)
7. Portuguese (160 million)
8. Russian (160 million)
9. Japanese (125 million)
10. German (100 million)
11. Punjabi (90 million)
12. Javanese (80 million)
13. French (75 million)
However, in terms of secondary speakers, Weber submits the following list:
(number of speakers in parentheses)
1. French (190 million)
2. English (150 million)
3. Russian (125 million)
4. Portuguese (28 million)
5. Arabic (21 million)
6. Spanish (20 million)
7. Chinese (20 million)
8. German (9 million)
9. Japanese (8 million)
Thus, if you add the secondary speaker populations to the primary speaker populations, you get the following (and I believe more accurate) list:
(number of speakers in parentheses)
1. Mandarin Chinese (1.12 billion)
2. English (480 million)
3. Spanish (320 million)
4. Russian (285 million)
5. French (265 million)
6. Hindi/Urdu (250 million)
7. Arabic (221 million)
8. Portuguese (188 million)
9. Bengali (185 million)
10. Japanese (133 million)
11. German (109 million)

Very informative dude
It may seem very hard to believe, but if you've been around the world then you would also see that. IMO many people can speak Chinese, but they just dont use it in everyday life. Get me for example, I can speak Chinese, the old dialect, but still I do.

If this is true, then where is it spoken? Besides primarily Chinese-speaking countries that is. I live in the U.S.A. and haven't heard anyone in real life speaking Mandarin or Cantonese (sp?) anywhere, ever, besides on the internet.
Mostly from what I know, many European/Asian countries have students learn English as a secondary language like practically everyone in the U.S. has to take Spanish as an elective for like every year through high school.

Have you been to New York or California? :Haha There are Chinese speaking people everywhere. Don't forget that China outranks US in population like 10 to 1. It's the largest population in the world.

It's not bad, but I think Ichigo's voice is not deep enough. Maybe because I don't like chinese voice, I just think the english dub is better than chinese one, but I voted for 8 still because it was pretty good. I like how much emotions they put in the voice. I also think Yuzu's voice is too high or something? So far, I think Karin's and Rukia's voice is best so far.
Dude, it's tru that Chinese is the most spoken Language, just face it.. It is true, anyways, IMO, each country has their own Dubbed, like I live in Indonesia, They always Dubbed every Anime into Indonesian, But I still think that the Japanese Rocks :D
and yeah, Asian Rules!

yeah thatz the problem with English sub.
It lacks emotional factor and sincerelity.
Something big is missing in it.

I watch the Bleach anime in Chinese, it aired this week (in my country) with episode 34. And the only voice I like belongs to Hinamori, it suits her really well. Aizen's dubbed voice...doesn't really sound like it should... >.< I like Rukia's dubbed voice. :D

What are Rukias and Ichigos name in chinese?
in the first episode i just heard that part - and i did not heard any "ichigo" nor "kurosaki", not even "kuchiki" or "rukia" ?
But, it is quite OK i think, dunno if really better than the englisch dub, cuz i think in the chinese is rukias voice better, and in englisch ichigos
i give it 8/10

It doesn't sound like Ichigo Kurosaki or Kuchiki Rukia because they actually translated it from what in japanese is suppose to mean and said it how in mandarin is suppose to sound like. Ichi means one[ー] so they put one in chinese on it and they say how it sounds like in chinese and then the rest, I forgot because the video was removed.
Well, that's how I think it's suppose to be, since I don't actually speak mandarin[ but understands it]. >_<

I love the chinese version, esp the voice of Uryuu-kun.
Ichigo chinese name is "Hei ji Yi Hu" Rukia is "Shuan Mu Ru Ji Ya", these r hanyupinying forms.
Damn, the video got deleted. I wanna see it!
I've read Chinese version Bleach manga form! WOOT! I haven't seen the anime in Chinese, but I read the manga in Chinese. Here are some Bleach names in Chinese:
Kurosaki Ichigo- Hei qi Yi Hu
Kuchiki Rukia-Xiu Mu Lu Qi ya
Ishida Uryuu-Shi Tian Yu Long
Inoue Orihime-Jing Shang Zhiji
And to anyone who does not believe that Chinese is not the most spoken language in the world: you are dead wrong. I live in LA, and I tell you, a whole bunch of people here speaks Chinese. In fact, in my school, about 37% of my classmates are Chinese.

How sad...it was deleted. I really want to see if I can find this dub. Was it in Mandarin or Cantonese dialect? I'm taking Mandarin Chinese at the moment, so I might be able to understand SOME of it. Cantonese or any other version of Chinese I'm completely hopeless with.

I hope those Chinese (yellow peril) and Blacks didnt get bullied by the white supremists.

Um... we're perfectly fine. There aren't many whites in my school... which is weird. We don't really get bullied by anyone else. In my school, Koreans are the majority, followed by Chinese, then Filipinos, Indians (from India), Hispanic, so on and so forth...
