While Itachi did kill his friend to obtain power(The Mangekyou). He did not kill his family and clan for power. He killed them just to test his strength.

My favorite is probably Naruto.But the only thing that ticks me off is naruto doesnt know how to keep his cool.But i really really like his Kyuubi form.In the time skip in manga it seeems like he knows how to keep his cool which also makes me like him better,I also think his jutsus are very cool and fighting styles.I like the fact that he uses a lot of shadow clones and uses rasengan.I wish that he could use his Kyuubi powers more often though in the anime.
