Zaraki Kenpachi VS Abarai Renji

Now most people would instantly think kenpatchi because he's a captain but hold up. I take up the argument that renji's bankai would win. Here are some reasons. Renji's bankai is so massive and could crush kenpatchi. Now kenpatchi is endurable but not enough to take anymore that a dozen direct hits by Renji's bankai. Kenpatchi isn't exactly fast so as long he was kept at a distance he would lose. Thats my opinion anyway. Tell me yours and why?

As someone mentioned earlier, his reiatsu is insane! He takes the eyepatch off, and there will be some dead snake for dinner tonight. lol Kenpachi isn't exactly that slow either( not Byakuya fast or anything like that) However, he has a lot of battle experience, so he can probably figure out which way the attack is coming and just deflect it with his sword, come back with a counter attack and go after Renji.

Zaraki would definitely win. For example just think about Zaraki vs Ichinose and how destructive Ichinose's bankai is and how the fight ended. But I think Renji would give atleast some fun to Zaraki.

Renji is strong, but still ... Kenpachi.
Simply because his reiatsu is massive (think: Ichinose vs Kenpachi).
But Renji stands a chance if he manages to pull off a good strategy. Kenpachi isn't really smart to me, either that; or he hasn't shown it yet.

Even though renji has his bankai i don't think so that after zaraki kenpachi unleashes his full strength renji would be able to stop him...if you remember the battle with ichigo and kenpachi ichigo was slower than kenpachi and almost got killed but when ichigo unleashed the same insane power to kenpachi and kenpachi unleashed his secret "card" they were both really fast and strong!!!!even though renji aint crazy enough to bare the power of kenpachi!!!

Kenpachi should win this. He can take full hits, and wat's Renji's shikai but body hits? and by the time his bankai gets down in time his head will be rolling away...
ZK's mammoth reiatsu could prob take care of Renji's bankai a fair bit - not all, but Renji can't win this IMO

Renji hasn't mastered his bankai yet, so i have trouble seeing him stand his ground. zarakai is just a beast when he fights and has just too much reiatsu.

People forget the fact that Kenpachi was about to go fight Komunara's bankai which was a GIANTIC WARRIOR about 100 times bigger than Renji's bankai.

So seriously, if you've learn anything from Bleach you would know that size does not matter.

Ishida tore Mayuri's bankai apart when it was bigger than Renji's also.

when kenpachi became a captain he had to first kill the previous squad captain. since that guy was a captain so you would assume that he had a shikai and/or bankai and would use it against kenpachi. so if kenpachi still won then he would win against abarai even though of his lack of a shikai or bankai. also when kenpachi fought maki-chan he still won after being attacked by both his shikai and bankai.

Renji cannot control his Bankai well. However, Renji's Bankai cannot be destroyed because it is controlled by his spirit links. Unfortunately, I don't recall anyone trembling because of Renji's reiatsu.

And the final blow would be that Zaraki is a captain while Renji is only a vice.

zaraki's reiatsu is far too high for the likes of renji. he doesn't have a chance even with bankai. for all i know, renji might be gasping for air after taking a dose of zaraki's reiatsu at full blast.
then again...maybe not...since even yachiru was able to keep calm when he took off his eyepatch >.>

Basicly,im saying that since Renji hasnt fully mastered is bankai, Zaraki would probably win because:
1)Captain Class
2) Enjoys feeling pain(woah,thats weird..)
3)Once that eyepatch taken off Zaraki's a Monstor!

i'd say zaraki, renji is just way too young in fighting and he's not bloodthirsty like zaraki. if he attempts to use his bankai on zaraki he could crush it with his bare hands. i'll give renji "A" for effort, he'll eventually get there ^_^

Before I close this t hread, some points:

1. Kepnachi has already defeated a well trained Captain bankai - Tousen (and possibly the former 11th Captain,although there is no info or proff of that). He took direct hits from a bankai level of spirit power and didn't even flinch.

2. Renji is very inexperienced - Renji's bankai is still undtraied. Massive or no, Kenpachi is faster than him.

3. power difference: Ichigo on shikai vs Renji on shikai, Ichigo pwned him when he was still inexperienced. Later on Kepnachi wasn't even wounded from the same level of power. Renji, even on bankai, isn't much more powerful than that.

4. Byakuya fight: Byakuya nearly killed Renji without using his bankai. He only used bankai to "show off", so to speak, to display the power difference. Zaraki is as strong as Byakuya is (with only raw power takeninto consideration, personaly I think Byakuya's skill with Senbonzakura and Senbonzakura itself are powerful enough to defeat Zaraki, but that's another story).
