Saving Throw
A saving throw is used to counter the effects of all techniques. It represents your character's ability to escape dangerous situations. It is represented in this RPG by a number of 6-sided “save dice” you may roll, based on level.
The amount of save dice for each level is shown below. Saves are discussed in more detail in the battle section.

Saving Throws
Offensive Techniques allow the opponent to make a saving throw. In this case, the technique will state that it has a particular DC (Difficulty Class) to save against. The opponent makes a post in which they roll to save against these techniques with a given number of Save Dice. A save die is a D6. So someone with 4 save dice would roll 4d6 plus their Constitution or Reiatsu modifier, whichever is higher, against the DC (difficulty class) of the save. If they roll over it, the save is made and the effect of the save (stated in the technique description – usually half damage or no damage taken) takes place.
