I've always found the Hubble Ultra Deep Field fascinating. But that site puts it into perspective well.

I just thought this might be enlightening to the CB community, as well as spark up some topics.

Look at the tiny amount of space that photo was taken from, then just LOOK at the rest of the sky. Every time I think about it, I can't help but imagine everything that must be out there. In my opinion, there is alien life. But humans will never see it in our lifetime.

It's simply beyond comprehension what abides in our universe, and I think sometimes we all take for granted our ability to even contemplate our existence.

Anyway, hope I made your head spin, just a little bit. ;D

It's kind of depressing knowing how small and insignificant we are. It’s amazing none the less. There’s something about the unobtainable that fascinate humans. I guest that’s what our race will always strive for in the end.

/me agrees...

Now i just feel really emo and depressed...All that stuff and i can't abuse the things that live there...It's like dangling a candy just out of my reach..

But nice picture and link...Truly fasinating to see what we will one day evenetually see and grab.

Well I feel somewhat comforted actually. The fact that we are small and insignificant makes it even more incredible that we exist, don't you think?
