Blaeach Dub Episode 12

You guys know it! just finished watching and heres the new thread. Ishidas voice sounded better in this episode and hopefully he'll keep talkin like that forever. Though id have to say the high point in the VA for this episode would have to be yuzu's. We havn't really been given a chance to hear it really well so far, well maybe i just havn't been paying attention, but it sounded great. Reminded me of sakura's but i don't think it is because it sounded better to me and much less annoying.

This episode is pretty good and I really like the dub of karin and chad on the end. They really sound like their character. Ishida's voice still sounds a little weird, but I guess I can get used to it >_<

Welcome, and your right, the voice is a bit strange, but its just like the rest. We think its strange at first, but now I have gotten used to the rest of the peoples voices. Now the Dub voices for Ichigo and Rukia have gotten to be normal to me.

Personally I loved Ichigo's voice since episode 1. Sure he may not sound the same as the japanese VA, but the point is, he's a great voice actor and gives his character emotion. It doesn't matter if they sound like their japanese VA counterparts, just as long as they get the emotion down. Karin finally got my sweet spot @ the end of this episode tho, great emotion in kicking Sado's head. lol

Very impressed with this ep, Karin was spot on, Chad was brilliant... I'm really liking Ishida's too... it really suits him I think, they're all definitely able to deliver their strong lines well... excepr I'm still not fully convinced by Rukia... bring on the conclusion of the duel!

I just got around to watching it and I must saying, I thought the VA's did an excellent job. Ishida's voice sounded a bit different, but it seems to fit his character better. As ChronoTrigga said, they don't sound exactly like their Japanese counterparts, but they still fit the characters. Chad was excellent, especially during his little flashback scene and Karin was hilarious after the battle was over.

Also, looks someone beat me to uploading the episode...oh well, as long as ppl get to see it.

I watched it. It was pretty good. Ishida's voice sounded like Ken (digimon emporer) from digimon season 2. I liked how Karin was toward Chad at the end of the episode. Orihimes voice alone not just her character bugs me... It's preppy ya know? Ericd014 is that thing in your sig that says my user name directed toward me? just wondering.

Orihime works for me, her voice couldnt really go any other way... she's meant to be kinda childish sounding and really kinda innocent in the beginning...

I think that once we get into SS when all the characters start getting all macho and agressive we'll see the right strengths coming out in the voices.

@ Ichigo_Kurosaki - Its really disconcerting isnt it, the name thing... When I first saw it I thought I was popular, heheh! Its just a clever bit of scripting I think, cos I see my name in Eric's signature too.
PS: Shouldn't it be necessary to have spoiler tags in the dub section too as we might have new people arriving in CB due to the dub and many of us are all way ahead in the anime and manga?

yea ishida is ken from digimon s aswell as veemon but i justfound out somthing that i should have picked up on as a fan kon is axel from kingdom hearts 2 for any fans here

Great Chad voice actor, still it's not near the original, but i feel that they made a good work with his voice. He could say Abuelo! Not grandfather.
