i think that FF12 will be better because it's going back to an original RPG instead of that MMORPG like FF11 was

FF12 will have a huuge hit, back to noraml RPGZ but still, dont think much people will go for it like they did with FFX, FFX-II wasnt the best. KH2 still has the problem of people judging it with the whole "ugh, disney" idea, but i think KH2 is much more mature , and even KH was awsome already. I cant pic between the two.. getting both anywayz. Maybe KH2, really liked the style, story, etc. FFXII will be neat nd all.. just hope it doesnt go too medieval-ish i unno.. ^^

I've enjoyed and loved all the FF games that I've played, which is almost all of them except 2 ( 1 & 11 ) ... KH I couldn't get to work on my PS2 :| one of the cats chewed up the disk before I got a chance to. But, my boyfriend didn't like it ... but, he doesn't like anything.

i played most of the FF games (including the SNES ones) and KH... i think FF is better. i heard thet in FF12 you can see the monster so you can avoid the battles (like in chrono cross)

i think dat FF is the all time best i think it is more matue than KH. i think the story lines are more in depth and even though the battle system can be annoying i think nit is ok because there is a large variety of moves to chose from. i believe that the characters backgrounds are in depth to i cant wait for FF12

That's just not true... You focus a bit too much on the disney part of KDH.
If you see what square did with KDH is actually pure parasitism. They don't need to write 100 little storylines to entertain players. They simply use existing ones.
There is more to KDH though. (If you played the gameboy version, which happens between KDH1 and 2, you'll see that it's more than disney stuff.)

FF12 is a storyline based on the Gameboy advance game FFTA.
(You can download the ROM and an emulator if you want to play it.)
Involving the judge system (personally i hate that system).
I think FFTA isn't a great game. The storyline isn't really as good as all the other FF games. So I can only hope that Square-Enix intends to make the story diffirent from FFTA and really can make this work out.

But I really am not puttting my hopes up like I did with the last few FF's.
I will buy and play FF12 anyway if that's what y'er wondering for.
But I might buy KDH2 as well. It's really evolving well.

I do must say. Play the GBA game of KDH. It's diffirent, but the story really takes a leap in it. (Especially the Riku part.)
So I suggest you buy it. Or for the cheap ones (like me), download the ROM.
(If anyone really want's it. But you can't find it. Contact me through E-mail. My adress I can provide through PM, though I may mail back through my G-mail adress, or use my other adress for MSN.)

id have to say final fantasy, most ppl cant get to grips with the atb part of the game, but i think its brilliant, ffx-2 was good when they made the changes to the battle but it didnt quite feel like final fantasy, apart from the dress spheres which i thought was briliant

Sorry but FF has to take the cake... Just has to... But I love KH too ^_^

I don't mind ATB... But it is getting old.
I really wouldn't mind a more SO-series-like battle system.
Or realtime, but it should be big enough. not like MMORPG. That's just boring after a while.

I really like FF for the storylines though. FFX wasn't the best story ever... But the feelings and reactions of characters were pretty good. So I liked it, but not as much as FF7 or FF8.
FFX2 was just.... not my style. But I liked some hints towards FF7 in the game.
I guess FFX had those too, but it was way less obvious to make the link.
I hope FF12 really shifts FFTA's storyline to higher places. But I'll be wary when I first play it.

Final Fantasy VII References

1.The name of the albhed on the airship is called shinra, so shinra being the name of the company that you try to take down with tifa barret and cloud.

2. In chapter 5, go back to the airshipafter reaching the farplane abyss. talk to shinra. he is researchingthe farplane and talks about how there is a limitless amount of energy down there. yuna comments on how she would love to see a city of lights, a reference to mako, and the town you start at in ff7.

Kingdom Hearts Reference

There is a dress sphere called lady luck, which is the name of a keyblade.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
im sure there is also a reference to chrono trigger
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
thats it, when you go through mushroom rock road, the music playing is from chrono trigger

As much as I love both games...I'm gonna have to go with Final Fantasy. But I do have a feeling that KH2 will do better than FF12. Me, I'm buying KH2 first. I don't trust the whole storyline following FFTA...I hated that game with a passion, especially since I've played the playstation FFT.

But that's tactics, that was just utter crap. The ps2 games are ALWAYS the best ones ^_^ I'm still gonna buy it. Then again, I think FF12 is coming after KH2 so, no choice in the matter.

Same here...
I'll buy both games anyway, but I'm sure I'll get bad memories from the judge system.

FFT was way better than FFTA. Too bad FFT2 never got available in Europe...

There were more hints to FF7 I noticed in FFX-2.
1) Same as in FFX, but I never noticed this in FFX. The world map is nearly the same as the one in FF7, the clouds on the world map in FFX are in the way though making it pretty hard to see. Just turn the world map a few times and you'll see that most continents and island belts are already in exactly the same place as FF7's, if you try checking how it would look in a distant future (continental movement...) then one of the possibilities is FF7's exact world map.
You can believe it or not, but it just might be true...

2)SPOILER: Do not read beyond this point if you want to finish FFX-2.

Storyline: The end of the game: At the end you have to go inside the farplane. A spiritual world. Shinra's scans indicate the energy reactions there are nearly infinite, he says he could create a machine which extracts and utilises this energy. But the real effects on the world that can be built with that machine might take still many years to see. He compares it to the original city of Zanarkand and then says that no one would see his city in their lifetime though. However he will draw the schematics.
This city just might be Midgar as seen in FF7. Using the planet's energy as power source.

Those are a few more direct links to FF7. Offcourse it's all just a possibility as Square hasn't said anything regarding this matter.
FF9 contains more hint's towards other FF games. But was announced by Square before FF9 was even completed. FF9 contains a lot of small things which point to all the other FF games, but never make a direct statement about them.
I didn't really like FF9, moreoverly because I had only played FF7 and 8 at that time. So I couldn't see almost any pointers.
I also strongly dislike the end of the story. Especially the Final boss...
It just was so out of place......
I also dislike FFX for this reason. I just hate it when a great story, with many great features get's a sloppy ending boss.

I will play the games probably again, but I guess I'll keep being irritated by the final boss things...
Also FF6, I really enjoyed the game untill the final boss. So I still think That these games are great games. But I just really think that the final chapters of some FF games could have been better.

I personally think FF7,and FF8 were the all time best FF games i think that's why they decided to FF7,and 8 chars in KH so i would have to go with FF.

I like both FF and KH, but FF is more strategic, and KH had pretty much no puzzles whatsoever and it was mostly hack and slash. Still, it was a good game and I'm looking forward to KH2 (Mulan :))..though I think FFXII will have a similar battle system where the enemies chase you and you run away or fight..

FFXII probably won't be like that, as it involves the judge system. This means a judge pops up at ALMOST EVERY BATTLE!!! (except jagd battles or whatever they're called...)
The judge decides what is allowed and what's not.
Let's say, Judge rule= No Fire-based damage.
This includes fire spells, fire swords, fire techs and all-color damage.
If you hurt someone with fire, you'll get a Yellow card. This means you'll get a penalty at the end of battle for every yellow card you recieve. Penalties are things like: no money award, no EXP, reduce stats, lose equipment, lose items.
Believe me, you'll think it's funny untill you lose your best sword because of this.
If you kill an opponent with fire like this, or you get too many yellow cards in one battle, you'll get a red card.
This means you'll go to jail. You can buy members free, but if your main character goes to jail, it's game over.
Cards also NEVER get off your name, unless you go to jail and pay money to remove your cards. It'll take some time or prerequisites as well too get some violations off your name.
The other side of this system is this: The judge point awards.
If the violation is fire, then Ice is the exact opposite, the award. So any ice damage will result in a judge point, judge points give you privileges in battle, like super-techs and skills.

This is the system as it was used in FFTA. It probably has some modifications to it but it'll be mainly the same.
This system is pretty hard to implement in a RTB-system. So I guess square will opt for good old ATB.

Final Fantasy, why? Becuase I enjoyed it more. Kingdom Hearts was great in all too, but I wont play it more than three times. Now Final Fantasy, each of them have a potential 7 time minimum limit for me.

Final Fantasy is my choice. Every game is a great experience. Kingdom Hearts is pretty good, it is just that I would like to control all of my characters and not just one while having the computer control the others.
