What do you mean by this "unseen war"? I'm not sure what you mean.

I don't think that there is any real warring between the Catholic Papal States and the Muslims... to be honest the muslims have got their hands full with enough war as it is.

If you have anything to further explain or qualify your meaning I'd love to carry on discussing this! :D

And hi, welcome to the forums!

religion is always a delicate topic. i think that religious leaders have long agreed that they will not antagonize each other. and like a marriage it will have disagreements every now and then. we are past the age of holy crusades and wars. so i think they have mutual respect for each other

as human ideologies they tend to confront, for the only reason of human competivity, a clash of thougths is not surprising, its almost predictable. And the problem grows because both religions teach a way of blind faith, a believe or burn in hell kind of thought. An unseen war might be plausible, yet is fairly unlikely for another Cruzade to happen, or even worse another full scale Inquisition, which the catolic Church still denies

you may not realise this, but this war has been around for a thoursand years, and it has never ended. as the west became modernised and had modern ideas, the middle east stayed on a more middleages level way of culture, and thus there are more muslim extremists, their acts appear to be more brutal and that more of them still fight the jihad. and incase you donno it, the christians called theirs the crusade, the muslims called theirs the jihad, when you break the language barriers, it means the same thing. this holy war is anything but holy and is an attrition at that.

It is true that some people have completely turned around the meaning of their religion with an excuse that what they do is for their religion. There are a lot of hypocrites and I'm not willing to support those muslims who wage war with an excuse for religion.

This war has been going on for ages but when you break it down to simple things, it seems they're fighting for the completely same cause...*shrugs* it might never end.

i dont know exactly what you mean,

now i dont know if this is gonna help or not but according to the profit (there was a pope who was a profit of sorts (st. malachy) and put out predictions for all the popes as well as other things. the facts are that this current pope is the next to the last according to him http://www.newagedirectory.com/pro/malachy.htm
The Current Pope

111. Benedict XVI - The New Pope Joseph Ratzinger was elected the 265th pope on April 19, 2005 a few days after his 78th birthday.
(The glory of the olive)
The olive branch represents peace. Will he play a role in bringing the religions together and furthering tolerance during his office? Within 24 hours of his election, Islamic and Jewish religious leaders suggested just such a role for him. Hopefully, he can lead the religious world to recognize and focus upon the commonality of their belief in the same God rather than their differences
Perhaps through the implementation of tolerance we can look to a future where people stop justifying the killing of one another in the name of God. Let us see what the future will bring.

In the future

112. The LAST POPE!
(Peter the Roman) "In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge the people. The End."

what i have been seeing is a huge resurgence in christian forcefullness which has been more pushy than usual. i dont know if this is because i have been paying more attention since i found my own path (paganisim) or if its just so odvious that they are holding on to the last shreads of their faith.

according to "positive magic" the end of the age of picies is near, and the age of aquarius is dawing, meaning a change in the way we all do things (i am not gonna retype out the whole thing and i dont have a link to it) it predicts the end of our way of life as we know it. meaning that alot of people are going to be switching their faith to a differnt path as well as other things.

i have alot of friends who are seers so to speak, and they have said that when they have asked about our future as a planet in the far future that the powers that be said um no you can not have that info (at least not yet) my prediction is that around the year 2012 (when the mayans predict the end of the world) that we are going to have a huge upheaval in a lot of areas of government, religon, and a few other areas. making this a change in life as we know it, and not the true end of the world or amageddon (well ok it may seem like it while its happening) or the rapture or what ever else the end of the world therosists have said.

people will soon loose faith in monotheist type belief systems, and regress so to speak to how we thought higher powers were, before christianity came in to practice. or maybe in to a new form of belief that we have no way of knowing at this time. of course none of htem will die out completely and a few people will still hold on to their beliefs as if they were grasping at straws.

what i feel is going on now is that christians and muslams and others like them, are seeing this happen, and they are worried that they will start to loose their foot hold on sociaty being that they are the 2 largest religons in the world at this time. they will probably try to start a few witch hunts, or holocost type stuff (oh i hope not they were awful times in history)

If u say that Islam itself as a religion and the Vatican are in war you are wrong....maybe you should read more about what Islam means and what it stands for.....what real ideas?....there are only true ideas and some born from some devious minds who profit on the benefit of Islam.....learn to make a difference.....don't let the media intoxicate you....brake out and find more.

Well the things you all should know is all religion is lead us to kindness (of course you all know) including islam. Those extremest who play terrors with the execuse of islam is they who feel angry to countries who has attacked their country especially in mid-east. They feel they must fight for the sake of their religion but waht they're doing is totally wrong. Innocent people is being victims. Like in my country. So because what the extremest doing it cause very big misunderstood to islam. But believe me Islam is very peaceful religion. I hope we're understand each other, keep helping each other and make this world in peace always.

I think what the OP is trying to ask is, is the Vatican pupeteering western armies from behind the scenes to do war with the Islamic leaders manipulating the muslims. As I'm not one for conspiracy theories, I have to say no.

There is no way the Catholic Church that the pope heads could control America or any other country in it's current state.

Christianism and Islam religions always contradict since centuries ago. I'm not sure what you mean by an unseen war, but even so, there are always argue about their own beliefs. So, whether the war is unseen or not, they are always like this because there's nothing we can do to fix this problem except by respecting their different sides of beliefs. It will be more nice if each of them respect each other. You know what I mean right? ^_^

i have and objection......Some followers of Islam and Christianism contradict from centuries ago...not the religions themselves

the people dont fight, the leaders fight. Why? because they cant stand the fact that someone is saying the same thing as them, and cant face the fact that it doesnt bring any benefit for them, thats why the ideologies collide, but the religions thyemselves DO NOT PROMOTE violence or discrimination
