In repeated ocassions I have witnessed countries paying to multinational corporations because they tried to defend their people from the "free trade" , that the bush administration has offered. And as the deadline for approval is closing in, it makes me think, is soberany of a country really being sold to multinationals?

There is nothing as free trade....everything is for sale these days.......influence.....power,.....desire...sometimes even the lives of people...for what?.....for the benefit of others and their ego's

So called free trade is nothing of the sort. It should be called Free to be exploited by Corprate intrests. IF your country signs onto the WTO or any other so called Free trade agrement kiss your soverignty goodbye. You can be sued by another country for not useing a product that kills your people just because it harms thier bottom line.
