This week's explanation is difficult...

雷切で角都の心臓を貫いたカカシ。続けて飛段を攻撃しようと
するが、それを角都に強烈な蹴りで邪魔される。
Kakashi pierced through Kakuzu heart with a raikiri. Next, he tries to attack Hidan, but is stopped by a strong kick from Kakuzu.

「どういうことだ？急所はハズしてないはず・・」驚くカカシ。
"How is that possible? I didn't miss the vital point..." Kakashi is surprised.

角都はマントを脱ぐと背中には４つの仮面があり、それぞれが背を
破って出てくると、４体の黒っぽいオバケ（まるで千と千尋のカオナシ）
が出てくる。ただしそのうち１体は心臓部に位置しておりカカシの雷切で
すでに絶命していた様子。
Kakuzu takes off his cape and on his back are 4 masks. Each breaks through his back to come out. 4 black-ish ghost (Like No Name from Sen and Chihiro [movie, English name: Spirited Away]). But 1 of them is placed at the heart, and seems to have been destroyed by Kakashi's Raikiri.

それぞれのオバケが「風遁・圧害」「雷遁・偽暗」の術で一行を襲う
Each ghost uses a jutsu of "Wind Element: Pressure Damage" "Lightning Element: False Darkness" to attack them all.

カカシは両腕の雷切で「偽暗」の攻撃を防いで味方を救う。
Kakashi uses Raikiri with both arms to block the attack of "False Darkness" and saves his teammates.

カカシいわく、これだけ高レベルの術は己のチャクラの性質と合致
しないと出せない。それを角都は「土」「風」「雷」と扱う。
Even Kakashi needs to match his Chakra nature to the jutsu to be able to use it. And yet Kakuzu can use "Earth" "Wind" "Lightning"

角都と飛段のコンビ攻撃を写輪眼で何とか見切る
(Kakashi) just manages to see through Kakuzu and Hidan's combo attack with his sharingan.

「こいつら強い・・強い・・特にあのマスクの方・・」
"These guys are strong...strong...Especially that masked one..."

そこへ「火遁・頭刻苦（ズコック）」のオバケの攻撃で終わり。
And there with a "Fire Element: Zukokku (Head Intense Pain)" attack from a ghost, it ends.

This seems really interesting.

it was a bit predictable of the Naruto manga to not allow Kakuzu to die. His new techniques seems interesting tho..

cheers spike sounds like another great chapter. i wonder how it will actually look though. also i wonder if even with naruto and sakura how they could win as these akatsuki seem much stronger then others we've seen maybe even itachi.
can't wait to see kakashi in action, 2 chidori's thats awesome.

just like i said earlier in spoiler 333...kakuzu wont die that easily just like other akatsuki ppl...that was really something, kakuzu had those black ghost or whatever it is in side his body...damn these akatsuki members, they all just weird...they look like a zombie..same thing with hidan, got his head cut off but still alive...

I think it's a given Akatsuki members won't go down so easily. Many of them are not really humans.

This is sick. Kakuzu looks like he's all sewn up, and masks on his back are creepy. Kakashi even got his jacket blown off, looks like they definitely need to be rescued by Gai's team probably.

I like the Akatsuki. Lol, they're all so mysterious in their own way. I knew Kakuzu would live, but I totally didn't expect that ghost thing! o.O It's still cool though, very Akatsuki-ish. XD

I can't wait for the next chapter now!! Hidan looked so sad when he saw that one of Kakuzu's ghost-thingies died... :(

I really hope Gai's team show up. I wanna see more of Rock Lee and what techniques he learned.

Maybe Kakuzu actually control all of the elements O.o

That might very well be true. Kakuzu himself is a earth-element user and the four masks consist of the other 4 elements (wind, lightning, water,fire). However, Kakashi destroyed one and that was the water one if my speculation is correct.

Anyone notice a slight flaw to this? Didn't Kakashi taught Sasuke that he can't use Chidori more than twice a day or something like that? He said even Kakashi himself can't handle it, but he has already used raikiri THRICE! Maybe Kishimoto has forgotten about it... :whatevah:

This might sound strange, but I think Sasuke might make an apperance. Why? Each of Kakuzu's mask can perform high level jutsu of that particular element. Kakashi was able to cancel that 'False Darkness' attack with raikiri, that is only because as he said so himself, it's the same elemental attack of the same level. At the end of the chapter, the mask was going to use a fire jutsu but none of Team 10 can perform a fire jutsu of the same degree to counter it. Either Kakashi has a high level fire jutsu up his sleeves (through years of copying) or a suitable specialist is going to show up (ie. Sasuke).

And it seems Kakuzu has all these masks to make himself invulnerable to any type of elemental jutsus but one of the elements have been exploited, so his 'immortality' might not be as hard to defeat than Hidan's but Kakuzu's obviously the more dangerous attacker.

Ino also seems to be quite far from Shikamaru and company, she is going to be in serious trouble.

next chapter should be really good..cant wait for the next chaper...sasuke would come? hehe..that would not happen...i think naruto will be the one who come for the rescue, he almost got his new jutsu now...and as tsunade said she will send naruto as a back up team if he mastered his new jutsu...cant wait to see naruto back in action..

Yes that would be very nice indeed, tough I doubt that will be next chapter already. I think Shika 'N kakashi'll messing around with Kakuzu 'N Hidan still for a bit first...

lolz...no way jiraya n tsunade will come for the rescue, coz its already said by tsunade, shes sending a backup, first priority is naruto...if naruto mastered his new jutsu, then she will send his team to the rescue...so that means she wont go there for the rescue....as for jiraya i donno what happen to him now, last that i can remember he was gathering info on akatsuki...

Well I think Kakuzu has some way to absorb the ouls of enemy's...so like when he gets struck lethal he'll just dispose of the soul that died, and then he'll just take another...

when kakashi mentioned that the only way to stop kakuzus attacks were to have an attack the same element as the one used against them but no one there is wind based besides naruto so does anyone else think that naruto will be joining the fight soon :)
