Um i believe they all have their limit when not upgraded.
Try spybot for lesser spyes(pop up) and spysweeper to cover the rest but norton has a pretty good one to, all are free without subscription but you might need a cd ><

Here use the Yahoo toolbar's antispy first. Then go to the top toolbar and highlight the word tools. Then if u have windows Service Pack 2 u should see Pop-Up Blocker. Then turn it on and next go to settings and put it on high to never see pop ups again. I will take a guess and say that u are using IE so i reccomend switching to FireFox.
Also go to Microsoft.com and download the following:
1.Microsoft Antispyware Beta
2.AVG Free Edition
3. Ram Idle
And download Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4
That should have ur computer running great and without popups

This problem surely comes from your pc. I get NO popups on the site anyway.
So all you need is an adware-remover. Spybot 1.4 works really well but you should use it in combination with others. I can recommend Adaware Se 1.05 from lavasoft on this matter.
Adaware also has the ability to find and safely remove the new V2X variant. (you do need to download the ad-on for it, but it's free anyway)
It is in your best interest that you want to find the new V2X virus. I had it and I've seen many people suffer from it. Normal virusscanners can't remove it without damaging your pc critically. Further it messes up IE pretty bad, and ultimatly will cause your pc to go Black Screen Death (the worse variant of blue screen death, the diffirence between the 2 is. Blue screen comes in a lot of cases. But when black screen occurs you can no longer boot your pc. Forever!)
All you can do when you see the BlaSD is boot from a disk. So boot from the windows cd and reinstall it, if BlaSD ever occurs.
I don't like toolsbars and such as they tend to get messy after a few years.
SP2 has a popupblocker but it doesn't work in ALL cases.
Adware for an example is an exeption on the blocker as the request comes from your own IP.
Next, I really hope you got dyna IP. else you're pretty screwed in case some online distributer of adware got your IP through spyware.
I hear a lot about Firefox but I think, in my honest opinion, that it isn't a needed thing. It has MORE bugs than IE and many site-effects don't show correct or they just don't show at all.
I use IE for all my life and I have had NEVER problems with the nature of IE.
All you need is knowledge on the things anyway.
I do recommend firefox (dispite the bugs, etc) if you really don't know a lot about viruses and your really think you can't handle ALL of them.
(Yeah I'm back for a day, but I'm gonna be in Germany next week so I'm going to be away for a long time.)
