this looks more ban kai than shikai to me but is obviously a in the works from the lastest week jump. I think it looks awesome non the less but i'm noticing a lot of fur with ban kai renji, fox guy, now kenpachi.

Now we know that the only sealed sword left to be discovered among captains is Kenpachi's. He treated his sword too much like shit for it to be discovered. And judging with the face, it probably is Kenpachi in monster mode. :doindadom

But I think he wouldn't do it immediately like that, and not to Ichigo. Probably to Aizen... but then, if my theory would happen, Ichigo will develop san-kai.

His san-kai would be the ability to absorb all the spiritrons of his enemies within a 200 yard radius (Ashizogi Jizou, anyone?) and be able to utilize all the abilities of the Zanpakutoh of the Taichous. So even if he'd be about to get beaten by Ken-chan, when he does that ...

Ichigo is turning to be a super-genius shinigami, and he has broken too much rules and established customs for him to stop. I wouldn't be surprised with that san-kai...

Ken-chan will just be surprised when Ichigo uses the shikai of Aizen to fool him, then the poison of Ashizogi Jizou, and then Ryuujin Jakka, and to top it all off, combined ban-kai of Tengen and Konjiki Ashizogi Jizou.

Of course, Ichi will probably faint later on, but man, that fight would look so good. :LOL:

And then, he'll return to his normal life, but it wouldn't be normal again ... ever. Ken-chan will be hunting him for all eternity ...

erm you are up to date with the scanlations right? I see about 20 episodes worth of this new story almost with exchange student guy, then something with urahara maybe yoruichi too. Some where down the line is isshin explaining his backstory to ichigo and current history while he was in soul society. Some more kon stuff, plus individual story segments from ohrime, chad, rukia?, and all the others before big climax of the exchange student fight, ichigo gets more training done mastering ban kai, maybe something kicks off in soul society like a hollow invasion connected to aizen, then more rukia interaction, renji etc etc, kenpachi fight 2 or something, ichigo becoming a captain you know he is destined to become one. about 20 episodes more of plot twists ban kai over loads and finding away into the hollow world which most likely number 1 only knows but is reluctant to give it up thus -ichigo number 1 fight (which would be fookin awesome. then a run about in menos grand land, then tousen confrontation, fight, tousen defeated etc, then gin half way aizen shows up gin backs off ichigo vs aizen proper, difficult fight lots more talking about what hes been up to showing each other holiday photos or something to pass the time as aizen is morew of a talker, but still an evil badass. ichigo nearly dies, but pulls off the impossible. then when looking for gin hes probably gone or become all powerful in stead (see my gin theory for details) either he runs leaving for more episodes n chapters or big battle which is a 2 on one with ichigo and kenpachi after learning his ban kai (would of previously learnt shi-kai fighting ichigo) gin dies annoucing his secret love for miss-can-u-believe-my-bosoms-are-bigger-than-ohrime's sad yet tragic death. then farewell to soul society but rukia leaves with ichigo (only if things with renji don't work out) further real world stuff courting of rukia an ichigo, that some guest spots from don kannongi then furtyher stuff.... i can't begin to plot further but thats about 200 episodes of anime right there or 450 manga chapters.

a soap o_O... nah I just see that as potentail story but without the words etc, it'll have its usual bleaciness too it. and I know thier are fillers, fillers are like death - inevitable.

I just think killing the only thing to remotely rival naruto is a baaaadd idea, but then I don't condone 420+ episodes like dbz and 14 movies. 250 just over tops and 3 or 4 movies, that way you'ld (as a manga artist, get to be more inventive and create more projects and see what happens, and even if that fails you can do what db did - dbz. At least that way you can do a quick revisit answering fan 'what ever happened to' etc.

Then yet again the age old saying comes into play :If it ain't broke don't fix it.

uh... not to be rude or anything but, this is a ad for "jump anime tour 05'" and more likely a movie(please don't quoat me on this)? i wish i could seen it more clearly since i can read japanese... and this "baishin" guy is a part of charactor kubo is originally join to design himself, and that drawing is it. and i don't think its a ken-chan because one of the "check point" on this charactor, it mentions that "wearing shinigami trench, BUT (something something) hollow." but it also says "coming out for the first time imporant original charactor baishin"-so what this original mean? that is my question, original as in ken-chan is original charactor? or original as in anime tour? unless ken-chan is part hollow i don't think this is ken-chan... that is my guess.....

There's no such thing as San Kai.

The only forms of Zanpaku-to there are are the original Sealed form, where it looks, for the most part, like a normal katana, Shi Kai, which depends on the user but is mostly a modified sword form or an attack or a combination of both, and Ban Kai, which is the strongest and final form of all Zanpaku-to.

By San kai, I think he's trying to mention Seikei/Senkei. I was mislead by that too.

Seikei (or whatever it is), is Byakuya's one technique that was his Ban Kai at 100% perfection, that took 1000 years to master. With the petals forming the light swords. I guess he thought that was some kind of new sword form

I realize that it is entirely possible for a Bankai or Shikai to make someone more buff, but I doubt we're gonna see one like that... and that guy is entirely too buff to be Zaraki. And if you look at some of the pictures in the bottom-right corner, they look nothing like Zaraki.

yes, some guy already stated he is a original character that kubo joined to design, could be a ova from a Fan fic that Kubo is really interested in designing.
then again, it is probably the rumor i hear about a new ova coming next year featuring the entire process where Ichigo acieved bankai with Zangetsu and how Zangetsu was finally defeated by Ichigo in the training and let him achieved bankai.

there is something else, like the mention of semi-hollow in the japanese text, this clearly states that it is not Zaraki.
plus, like it was said, beside the feature similiar, he has no scars, the cross on the face has dissapeared. maybe Zaraki's lost twin..??
he is buff, his armor everything else look like additions to that.
i happen to notice as well his stature is weird. like so Zaraki like, Zaraki stands straight like a man, but this guy is like a crazed monkey, or maybe it is just me.

and plus, the shonn jump publication is only about some 15 chapters or so ahead of us, so my speculation is that is not him because if he is smart, he would not spoil hi sown story with such sudden adjustments and surprises that are usually unplotted. plus, if they are gonna focus on the current chapters about hollows and stuff, i think zaraki will be put aside for now, having him achieve bankai and whats not will be far later into the story

The name of the arrancar that I keep thinking he looks like is named "Yami". He's the one that sucked Tetsuki's soul. Ulquiorra was with him at the time... I can't check my manga (as I've said), but I'm nearly positive that it is him in that picture.

I don't think it's Kenpachi. Kenpatchi's sealed sword was used as an example when owner and sword do not use each other to comunicate with. Because Kenpatchi's sword was abused by him and never listened to him, Kenpatchi's sword will not co-opperate with him. I wonder is he will ever commune with his sword.

If he treats it with respect from now on, I wonder if it is possible to unseal it.

I assume there will be more people about who have sealed swords.

that is not kenpachi it doesn't look anything like him fool, unless its from some crazy flashback where he didn't look anything like he looks now, in any other instance it is not him. actually we've even seen flash back shots before and he didn't look anything like that, and he didn't have chains on his arms, its some other guy yet to be revealed.

From what i know "it's an original character designed by Kubo Tite, his name is Baishin for the upcoming original story scenario Sealed Sword Frenzy." taken off from another forum. Probably is the OVA where ichigio,renji and hitsugaya try to stop kenpachis brother(Baishin?) from sealing the sword.
