i was wondering if anyone here reads School Rumble....it's a great manga on which the well known anime was based.....i recommend it with all my heart and hope u all read it:D

I finally caught up! I don't support the Harima x Tenma pairing but Harima is doing all he can to help Tenma with Kurasuma which is pretty nice of him

Since Tenma is in America looking for Karasuma, it looks like Harima has finally given up on her. And Eri was the one who came to him after he was all beat up so maybe it will have a HarimaxEri ending after all. Yay! \o/

Tenma is talking to Karasuma in the hospital at the moment right? Well since he has no memory due to his illness, maybe seeing Tenma's love for him might bring his thoughts back in some miracle situation, then they will love each other forever and get married and have babies :3

Either that or the manga is going to end on a really sad note ;_;

^ Agreed chapters are way too small.. but when it started there was more content per page... now the panels fill almost half a page @_@

I dont like when comical series get too serious... like Fruits Basket... it startet like school rumble, but halfway it turned into a really dramatical, sad and heartbreaking story... i liked it still and read it to the end....

At least School Rumble mantained the comical and dramatical levels in equilibrium.

About a week, same as more or less every manga :p Sometimes they get released earlier though.

Its the same speed, its only that you get fewer pages than every other manga so it feels like it takes forever

To be honest it doesn't matter which version you buy, as long as it's a copy the artist will still get loyalties for his/her work which is a good way of supporting them with rather little effort.

@Heartless: I haven't read or seen Air Gear so I'm going to say School Rumble, to start off with it's more or less random happenings, but eventually a good storyline comes out of it.

@Undy: I agree the chapters have gotten really short lately, 9 pages on about 10 previous Chapters I believe and the latest one had 10 pages, so it's getting better gradually I guess -_- lol I thought the drawing style had change :lol I quite like it as it gives a sense of dreariness when the ghost girl appeared, then it kinda went back to the old style for a few panels.

Also about the latest Chapter:
I thought it was OK, found it a bit boring to be honest as it strayed away from the main story and the Chapter didn't really introduce anything new, apart from the ghost girl has a lighter more cheery side :D

I said it was casual, fun reading, and NOT a thought provoking drama. I never said it sucked, in fact, I'm a SR fan. I'm just saying that it was NOT a deep story to begin with. It's like Minami-ke or any other slice of life manga/anime; you read it just for lolz and fun. You don't expect there to be a huge moral or preaching or anything, so why expect an epic ending?

In my opinion, that was a chapter of Harima's manga. The drawing style looked slightly different to Kobayanshi's regular artwork, and there was significantly less detail.
